I have two boys in football. One in 7th grade and one in 9th grade. For COVID reasons, they have to cart around their pads and helmets back and forth this year. I bought them matching bags. These bags are huge! They fit everything. I likely should not have gotten one this big for my middle schooler. All his stuff is in there and there is a lot more room left. But hey, if he sticks with it, he will need more room in the future. The high schooler is huge. He is already 6’1” and has really wide shoulder. His bag fits all of his gear comfortably. Someone on the team said something “whose bag is this that looks like it could hide a body in it?”, then when they saw it was his, the kid told him, “Ahhh, Nice bag man!” So there is that. Both boys are actually very happy with their bags. A benefit for me as the football practice Uber, is that once all the gear is in the bag and it is zipped up, it traps all that manly football smell inside so the car ride home is not bad. I do insist that they take the gear out in their rooms and spray it down with Vapor Fresh, then allow it to dry before putting it back in the bag. ... show more
