Comfy - Shorts are NOT Compression Shorts

After much consideration, I decided to pull the trigger on this outfit. I am 5'11" and 175 lbs and I opted for the XL so I could have some additional length (I usually wear a size 12)! The fit was good and not baggy. It seems like they were going for a Varley dupe with the top and an Outdoor Voices dupe with the skort-- so these could easily be worn separately. From a functional perspective-- this is a great work-from-home outfit because the top is polished and the bottom is great for summer and popping out to walk the dog and run errands. One thing to note-- particularly for the tall people-- the shorts are not compression shorts- so they do not stay put quite like other athleisure versions I have worn. For tall people in particular-- they will probably hit a little higher thus furthering the annoyance of a non-compression short. Therefore-- you would not want to wear the skort for a hike or anything super athletic as they may not perform as needed! That is the driver for 4 stars-- but honestly-- at the price point-- no regrets at all!

Great quality, very soft material. I ordered a L the first time but the skirt was slightly big. Ordered the medium and it fits perfect. I’m slim in the hip, 5’4 & 165lbs. If you carry weight in the hip area size up cause the bottoms run smaller than the overside top.

Skirt is not executed well

This set looks cute in the pictures. But the execution of the skirt is just not it. The split is too wide so you just see too much of the shorts underneath with any movement. And the shorts are just too short for that. Their length would be fine if the slit stayed more closed, but you end up seeing so much of the shorts that they are essentially part of the look. Also I bought this in both grey and blue and just know that the material is different. The grey was thicker and felt more structured. The blue was thinner but softer. Pros/cons. The blue was super soft but because the material was so thin you could see the line down the front of skirt from the seam in the shorts underneath. I did love the top and the color of the dusty blue. Honestly I wish they made this as a shorts set or just sold the top solo. But I couldn’t justify the price to only wear the shirt so I returned it.

Jackie Kennedy Casual Comfort

I may end up buying this in every color. The style immediately reminded me of a sporty, modern take on classic Jackie Kennedy airport fashion—polished enough to wear with wedges or heels, but comfortable enough to throw on with sneakers or Crocs when real life happens. I wore this outfit while traveling and received several compliments at the airport. I actually started the day wearing wedges, but because I had a tight connection and thought I might need to run between gates, I switched to Crocs. Surprisingly, the outfit still looked put together. For reference, I am 5'4" and 145 lbs and ordered a Medium. The fit is relaxed and slightly oversized, especially through the top, which I personally love. The drape gives it an elevated look instead of feeling sloppy. The skorts has enough shape to be flattering while still being comfortable for sitting, walking, and traveling. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, making it ideal for warmer weather or travel days. I haven't washed it yet, so I'll update my review if anything changes after laundering, but so far the material feels soft and comfortable against the skin. Cute but the sizing is off

It’s cute and I’m keeping it, but the top has an oversized feel to it and the bottoms feel tight? The fabric is SO soft. It’s a great throw on and run out the door fit! Loved the color. My only issue is the bottoms being smaller?
