I'm not sure what I was expecting when I ordered "164-piece" fishing lure collection, but WOW are there SO MANY in this set! This set arrives all packaged together in a small, plastic box (along with the fishing line and the hooks in a separate smaller plastic box). The lures BARELY fit in the box - in fact I opened it up to see what kind of lures there were, and I could not get the box to close again because I had taken things out and accidentally re-arranged things. There is some really nice variety - I'm not a fisherman, but my kids love fishing, so this set will be for them to use this summer at the lake.

Okay, I'm drowning in a sea of lures! This 164-piece collection is seriously impressive. It's like the tackle box equivalent of a candy store explosion – every color of the rainbow, every shape imaginable. Seriously though, the variety is incredible. From spinners and spoons to jigs and crankbaits, there's something for every type of freshwater fish and every fishing situation. The quality of the baits seems decent, and the colors are vibrant. Do not know how durable of effective these are just yet. The box itself is relatively small and made of thin plastic, I am not sure if it will last out on the field. I will definitely transfer them to another tackle box. Looking for one that will help organize these in an easy to locate specific lures and be easy to transport through rivers and creeks, which this does not really lend to that. Now, the real test: the catch. Wish me luck! I'll update this review once I've landed something worthy of this impressive collection (hopefully something bigger than soggy boots). This is a large size, fishing kit. There’s 164 pieces, which come in 2 different size, clear containers. All except for the roll of fishing line. The smaller container holds a variety of different size hooks. While the medium size container holds all of the lures. These lures come in different shapes and sizes., and have been painted with vibrant colors. These are perfect for fishing in a lake or a river. And I wouldn’t say these are the highest quality, but they’re decent. And when you compare that to the price your paying, this kit is definitely worth it.
