This bait box comes with a wide variety of baits and hooks to use for fishing. The way the kit is set up the bait is mostly for bass, but with the smaller spoon baits I think you can get away with catching some bluegill as well. You can pretty much jig up any of the soft plastics with the hooks that were provided. They're easy to use and you can go weightless or Carolina rig with the leader lines that were provided. The crankbait is an added bonus too. The baits are, however, a bit smaller than they look in the pictures. But remember, not all bass like to go for large presentation. This could work out well depending on water conditions. Regardless, it's a good pack, and the variety is quite nice.

I recently got back into fishing after a 20-year hiatus. Needless to say, after several moves and such, my gear was gone so I needed even the basics. So, I got this kit as part of flashing out some of the basics. It comes with a few different hooks and worms. You have the gear to makes some Texas rigs and other things. It comes with pretty much what you see in the first picture in the ad with all of the lures and such spread out. I was happy that it even came with the same perch colored plastic lure. It came with more stuff than the little box really can hold well. Is this small cheap kit going to cover all of your needs? No, of course not. But it will fill the gaps and give you some options to either refill on basics or something to build upon with your lures of preference.

Can you buy more expensive lures, yes. But can you get a deal like this anywhere else for this price, probably not. I love this set of tackle, I gifted this to my friend who just started getting into fishing and he loved it. The set comes with a great variety of baits, jigs, sinkers, and hooks so it really gives you everything you need. I also think this would make a great gift for any angler as you can always use a refill on some inexpensive lures/soft plastics. I am shocked at how much was included and honestly all the lures are functional. Definitely a great set for the price.

My husband, son, and, I started fishing the river in our small town and have bought several kits at about this price point to try different things out compared to other ones we bought at big box stores this was far superior quality, We have caught several fish off the popper and the spinners so no complaints there. If I had one gripe it would be the case that it comes with is cheap and barely fits everything so if you have a tackle box or other storage it would be recommended but for 10 bucks it definitely is a good buy!

My husband loves this set and was happy to receive it. He says it has most of what he needs to go fishing in a fair amount of situations. He likes these more for freshwater options. He has used these in a river that runs near our house and he's caught a few fish with the lures! He likes that it comes organized neatly in a plastic box that is compact. He stuffs it into his fishing knapsack easily and there's lots of room for other stuff. He says that he's reused these several times and he doesn't see them breaking anytime soon. He thinks it's a good value for what you get!

This is one handy, inexpensive kit. Given its current sell price which correlates to only a few cents per lure, this is an easy buy. The products appear to be all sufficiently well made. I think I had to retie one knot, but otherwise everything looked fine. Not all the lures have yet to be used, but I think everything will work as it should.
