What a difference the real deal makes! Incredibly smooth and soft. Have used the kind that say they’re silk but are nothing like these. Washed them in cold water, delicate cycle then air dried them in the dryer. Came out looking like they did when we opened the box.

I’ve never ordered a silk pillow case until now. It feels great, doesn’t muss up my hair, and it came with a mesh beg for putting it in the laundry. I use cold water and gentle setting, and hang it to dry or lay it on top of a towel. I don’t iron anything anymore, and this looked fine when I placed it back on the pillow. I ordered the standard size; the envelope slips a little bit, but it’s better than a cheap zipper which will quickly break. It’s worth the splurge. ... show more

Such a great product for sleep in helping with skin and hair issues. This company is wonderful and has good quality control. They even include a laundry bag for when placing the pillowcase in the washing machine. I also like the feature of the envelop closing, rather than the zippered ones, which invariably rip. I purchased this pillow case because I hear it's good for wrinkles and skin condition to sleep on a silk pillow case. It's so soft! I didn't like that I have to hand wash and dry with a towel, but once the water is removed, it dries remarkably fast. Two washes and it's holding up. EDIT: 3 years later, it's still holding up. I no longer hand wash; I put it in a lingerie bag and wash on cold with my clothes, weekly. Air dry (still remarkably quick!) I have noticed that the case slips a bit throughout the night, so I have to restraighten in the morning. Because of that, one edge of the case is beginning to pull apart. Not enough yet that it's actually a hole, but I can see the stitching pulling a bit. Given that I've slept on this case for three years consistently, washing once a week, and after the first couple of months began machine washing in a net bag, the slight stitching issues beginning is to be expected. Overall I still give this pillow case a 5 star review. I am about to order another one for backup and switching out. ... show more
