This toy is the cutest! The sounds and songs are fun. It definitely helps your little one learn to count to 10. It also helps with hand eye coordination and fine motor skills, so your little one can learn to put the coin through the slot on the top. A rewarding sound follows each coin put in. (Usually a counting number.) There is three settings on this toy to change from level 1,2 or3. The older they get you can increase the level and the sounds change a little with each level. You can press the nose to play a cute song or a sound. It also plays a sound when the side door is opened and shut. I bought this back in 2007 with my first child and she absolutely loved this piggy. Then I started over again with my second baby in 2018 and was so happy to see this toy still being sold. We got it just a little before her first birthday and she also loved this toy dearly. We shared it with a family member to continue the fun. A very sturdy toy, made very well. I know my girls were rough on it, one of them threw it a few times to watch the coins all come out and this toy withstood her terror! 😆 Highly recommended. You won't regret this purchase whether it's for your own child or as a gift for a family member or friend. It's adorable, fun, and priced very reasonably.

This is a great toy for Hand eye coordination for little ones. The colors are vibrant, it’s easy to use, and it’s great quality. The coins are big enough that I’m not worried about the baby putting the whole thing in the mouth. It has numbers colors and a picture on the reverse side of the coins. It’s very functional. It’s a great value for money. I highly recommend this item.

my daughter is in OT right now and had been working on placing things into containers and working on hand eye coordination, and this product has been really helpful with that! It makes sounds and sing songs when she gets the coins into the slot and she gets really excited when she does it correctly! It’s great feedback and it helps children learn how to count And learn how to orient their hands correctly so that they can insert the coins into the slot. Definitely happy with this product!

Bought one for my first son 10 years ago and bought one again for my 1 year old. Classic kids toy. Good quality and cute. They have made it smaller than it was in the past but that is a positive in my opinion. The size is more suitable for younger kids now.

Great toy. I got it for my 19 month old for christmas. She loves it. Kids can learn numbers, colors, counting, etc. Would be suitable for younger kids as well to learn grasping and fine motor skills. I got it for an amazing price of $15. Totally recommend!!

I bought this for my (almost) 4 year-old, level 3 Autistic son. He doesn't really play with toys. In fact, he shows very little interest in toys other than tossing them around or putting them in his mouth. He is OBSESSED with this little piggy! He sometimes plays with it for 10/15 minutes, or MORE, at a time. Just takes the coins out, turns it around so the little door is facing away from him, puts the coins in the slot, then turns it back around to get them out. He repeats this for a while, then puts some of the coins in his mouth and gets up and carries the pig around! lol. It has been wonderful for helping develop his fine motor skills! It has three settings for volume, off, low, and a little louder. It can get a little annoying after a while when your kid is being repetitive (mine sometimes likes to just open and shut the door several times) with it, though. Luckily, my son doesn't care much about the sound, so I usually have it off! LOVE the fact that volume can be turned off. It is VERY durable! My kiddo has dropped/tossed this poor pig SO many times! He carries it around by the little door for getting the coins out. Unfortunately, it is impossible (I've already contacted Mattel) to get/buy just the coins, so I've just purchased a second one for him since he's misplaced half of the coins.

I used this toy to count with our toddler. I also used it to teach hand eye coordination. We enjoyed this toy a lot. The glass was thick, but not too thick where you couldn't open the slot. It was easy to open the slot. The bank and coins are plastic, so the quality isn't compromised much. You could store all ten coins and it's a small toy so you could easily store it for later play.
