This was a huge upgrade from the 20 dollar board I was using before. Good beginner board. If you want more loose turns loose the trucks. It is sturdy and still holds up. FISH IS A GREAT BRAND. I also bought their long board and it is epic.

I used to skate when I was younger and bought this trying to get back into it. The bearings could be better and everything needed tightened but that's no big deal but for the price and it's strong enough for adult riders you can't do much better

This is how it came out of the box..... Really? So sad to have the birthday boy open his gift and find it looking like this. Most irritating is the fact that last month I bought a FISH long board for my other grandson and it arrived with the end of the board sticking out of a too small box, all chewed up They did replace it QUICKLY and in a bigger box, for which I am thankful. 1 star for shipping issues again. Bought this board for my 12 year old daughter, not pictured, and I'm confident in it's quality and design. I'm 6'2" about 195lbs and I tested the board out to see how it rides and withstands impacts. Overall I'm very impressed with the board in terms of quality and design, given the budget price. It's totally worth it. It will last my daughter through her beginner stages, and if she progresses these boards are still good for novice skaters. Can't really complain too much, similar criticisms as most economy/beginner boards, cheap bushings and ok grip. This is still leaps ahead of any of my first skateboards as a child. If you know how to ride a skateboard this is the perfect board, it turns fast and you push less often with the board. I got this board for my friend and they had a hard time using it. They were a beginner just like me, they kept on falling and getting hurt but they were determined to learn how to ride it. I bought this for my 7 year old little brother and he absolutely loves it. I was worried it would feel cheap because of the price, but the plastic is actually very thick and durable feeling. The wheels came a little tight, but the board comes with the tool you need to loosen them so it was no biggie to tweak them a little and make it easier to ride. Super worth it! ... show more
