I bought this because I wanted a lighter breathable jacket to wear in the hot summers with armor protection. And this fit the bill perfectly! AND it exactly matches the color of my bike! How can you pass that up!? Its very comfortable, there is a waterproof liner inside that you can take out when it gets really hot and it just lets the breeze blow right thru...it feels amazing. The armor inserts are velcroed in so you can remove them to wash the jacket. The armor in the elbows and shoulders is CE approved, but the pad in the back is not. There are a few pockets inside the liner that secure with velcro, and a zippered pocket inside. Two zipper pockets outside, some side straps to tighten the jacket around you, and a button snap around each wrist to keep it tight. I'm 5"3', 103 lbs and the small fit me perfect. It looks good, makes me more visible on the road with the bright colors, and it makes me feel safe! ... show more

I typically wear a medium, but after researching the product, I ordered a large. I am glad I did, since the large fits perfectly. The size charts on Amazon are noy very helpful, but you can Google a size chart specific to this jacket. It's comfortable, and the color is as bright in person as it isin the picture--anything to help motorists see riders! ... show more

Great product. The only problem is the sleeve is too long which is always is my problem. Otherwise, the jacket fits nicely and comfortably. I live in AZ so there is no need for the liner, feels great to have breeze flowing through when it is 100.

Pretty colors and nice quality. A bit bulkier than I envisioned because of the protective padding. Quite cool with the liner removed. It will not fit around a person with a wide waistline, need to be slim.

    • Great Jacket!
This jacket is very comfortable. It is pretty good for summer riding. The inner water proof lining removes by a zipper. Once the lining is removed, the jacket is vented nicely, allowing air in while riding. The only issue I see is that the sizing runs very small. I am usually a Large, but I had to order an XX-Large, and it fit just right. The color is true to the picture, and is very nice. There are inner pockets, one for a cell phone, and a larger one for whatever else. These pockets Velcro shut. The exterior pockets have zippers to be more secure. The side straps are helpful in fitting the jacket better to your waist. They pull tighter and Velcro. Over all I am very happy with this jacket, and would recommend it to anyone. ... show more

Only thing bad I can say is that the inner lining is a joke. It's messy, uncomfortable, bunches up, sticks to bare skin. I ripped it out after several uses because it is really frustrating. Downside is now I have no weather resistance.

I love the color and it looks just like as pictured. It has pockets inside also with the armored shoulders and elbows. It also has an inner lining. Seems quite heavy, but I suppose most of them are like that for the protection. I normally wear a large, but ordered this in X-large and it seems to fit ok. I think a large would have been to binding when extending arms, etc when riding. I haven't used it yet, but I am hoping I will like it. It arrived very promptly. Very pleased with delivery. Awesome jacket. Comes with CE approved body armor included the elbows and shoulders. The back pad can be replaced for a CE approved pad but it should be fine with the one that comes with it. Comfortable fit. Quality zippers. Comes with a wind proof liner. My 2nd Firstgear jacket.
