I’m 5’6”, 155 lbs, hourglass build - 29” waist/40” hip. Usually wear a 27/28 in jeans or a size 8/medium for in athletic wear. I bought the brown ones in medium and large to compare. I could have kept either size, and the side by side pictures were very similar. I felt the medium was slightly more flattering than the large- so I kept the medium. The medium accentuated my shape better, but the large would have worked too. If my waist wasn’t as small I probably would have kept the large. The waist snatches you in nicely and the flowy cut is really flattering. For those of us with a small waist to hip ratio this is a big deal because the waist actually fits and isn’t baggy. If you have a small waist and big butt/thighs the cut is perfect. The material is slightly longer in the back so it actually covers my butt, and the sides are slightly shorter so it has a nice silhouette. I feel confident wearing these out and about without feeling like I’m showing too much (im in great shape but I’m 32 not 22 lol). The large size was only slightly longer than the medium, but there was more material so it seems like the coverage would be equal if I was heavier. The material is soft and light weight, the shorts underneath are comfortable and stretchy. The shorts are form fitting and fit snuggly in the medium for me, a little looser in the large. There are pockets in the inner shorts. They washed well on warm, delicate cycle. I hung them to dry and they dry fast. The brown color is accurate to the picture. We will see how they hold up but the quality seems to be good so far. I feel like these are really versatile because they look like a skirt but you can still tell that they’re shorts. Could definitely dress up (like the black color) or dress down. I will be buying more colors. Would be great for golfing or passenger princess in the golf cart, tennis, running, brunch, or pretty much anytime if you want to look/feel cute but are a casual/comfy girl at heart. I bought these to wear during pregnancy, and they are extremely comfortable! I did size up twice and I think they should fit me throughout the end of pregnancy! I love that it has two pockets. The material is very soft and lightweight. I love that the inner short liner prevents my thighs from rubbing together as well! These shorts are very stretchy and comfortable. The waistband is very flattering and I love the way they look from the front. There is a minor fit issue on me. In the back right near my tailbone, the shorts pucker out in a weird spot unless I pull them up really far. I’m not sure if they are too small? They fit great everywhere else. For reference I bought a small. I am 5’4” and fluctuate in the 130lb range. These are great for people with larger hips than their waists, but the shorts do ride up in the inner thighs and the waistband does curl a little bit during working out. Loveee that they have pockets on the side and are made with a nice flowy and lightweight material. They are great for tennis, pickleball, running, and weightlifting. Overall, I really like them and will be keeping them. I think I might buy another pair in a size medium to compare the fit. It’s been a couple of weeks and I bought a second pair of shorts in a brown color. They don’t pucker out in the back like the white ones did. But the spandex shorts fit tighter around my thighs and the shorts are shorter than the white pair, but also flowier somehow. I stuck with the size small and I still like the size. I honestly think they would be too flowy in the medium size. Since the spandex shorts were tighter in the brown pair they roll up when you workout but overall they are still comfortable and cute. ... show more

LOVE!! These are the perfect yellow are are so so soft! The waistband sits nice and are a great quality. The inner shorts might be a bit tighter and will probably roll up if you have bigger thighs like me, so probably not run friendly

I am nearing the end of my third trimester, and these have become my go-to shorts. They are incredibly comfortable and have stayed stretchy enough to grow with my bump without feeling restrictive. Before pregnancy, I typically wore a size L or XL. I intentionally ordered a XXL so I'd have room to grow and avoid the waistband digging into my stomach, and I'm so glad I did. For reference, I'm 5'6", weighed about 210 lbs before pregnancy, and I'm currently around 233 lbs. I've always carried most of my weight in my chest and abdomen, and these have been very flattering and comfortable for my body type. The flowy outer layer gives plenty of room for an apron belly or B-shaped belly, and the built-in shorts stay in place without riding up. The waistband stretches comfortably over my bump without constantly needing to be adjusted, which has been hard to find in maternity-friendly shorts. Even this late in pregnancy, I reach for these several times a week. I'll definitely keep wearing them postpartum too because they're comfortable, lightweight, and don't feel restrictive. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for athletic shorts that work well during pregnancy—even if they aren't specifically maternity shorts. ... show more
