Description

Your do-it-all rifle needs a do-it-all optic. With the RapidStrike 1-6x24mm riflescope kit, you get speed, accuracy and distance—something you just can’t get out of a red dot sight. The 1-6x magnification provides fast and accurate point and shoot capabilities without target or reticle distortion, 2-6x is perfect magnification for medium-ranges when hog hunting or for 3-Gun competition. We’ve kept the illuminated green or red second focal plane Circle Dot reticle simple, so field of view isn’t comprised. Bullet drop compensation is calibrated for 5.56mm 55-grain ammo. There is no need to worry about waiting for the right mount because the RapidStrike riflescope kit comes with everything you need to head right to the range. Included is a cantilever mount to provide the correct cheekweld for rifles, throw lever for rapid magnification changes, a honeycomb filter to reduce glare and pop-up, resettable locking turrets that return to zero. Multi-coated, anti-reflective glass, along with its IP67 waterproof rating, keeps images crisp and clear in bright daylight, as well as low-light.

    • Very Good Scope
This really serves the purposes for which it was purchased. Given its affordability it has outperformed the price point. Of course, there are other brands and far more superior glass out there, but practically, and for all intents and purposes, you cannot go wrong with this glass. It's clear, it's accurate, it's lighter than some others that I have, and it functions better than some others that I've experienced. The dials are crisp and tactile with no slop, and thus far has held zero, and has returned to zero when I deliberately moved the dials. I recently punched out to 300 yards with a .300 AAC Blackout, and it performed very well and surpassed my expectations and described limitations. For the money, you cannot go wrong with this LPVO. It has green and red reticle illumination; the only drawback is it's not a daylight bright reticle. But hey, if it's daylight, who cares, aim for your shot, break your shot, and hit what you shot at! Easy. Since I'm a little older, I prefer a higher profile for easier access to the eye box for faster indexing, so I use a QD adjustable riser. Works wonderfully! ... show more

Let me start by saying I'm an avid outdoorsman. My wife thinks I was dropped a lot as a child. I've owned Acogs , Bushnell and many other scopes. This scope is an absolute steal at this price. It comes with everything. The only install was the throw lever. The glass is crystal clear. It's actually built like a tank. There is no fish eye, no distortion what-so-ever. I'm dumb founded how they can make these so well, at this price point. This is a quality scope for Tasco prices. If you're on the fence buy it. It's a 10 / 10 . Best deal I've gotten on anything in quite a while. This is truly a great package for the money. You'll never get better than this. Crystal Clear glass ...!!! This is not a so-so scope. This is an absolute Steal . As good as any Bushnell or Leopold out there. I'm glad I got one. Real metal and glass was used. lol . Don't let the price fool you. Sometimes you get what you pay for , sometimes you get a heck of a deal . This is a heck of a deal. How can you lose at this price. $1000 dollar scope for $ 116 .     • Seems good for the money
I just got this scope a few days ago, so i still dont have much time with it, but it seems good. I have limited experience with lpvo's, but in its price range this one is comparable if not slightly better than others due to the features it comes with. the 6x zoom is definitely higher than the 4x, noticeably, which is what i wanted this for. the reticle is good. I would prefer it to be 20% thinner or so, as is its slightly on the bolder side, which i suppose is good for quick acquisition, and once you zoom out to 6 x, since its sfp, the reticle appears smaller compared to the target, still it could be slightly finer for more precision. it doe shave very crisp edges however, both in non and illuminated states. The reticle has range finding and bdc capabilities, which is nice, it seems to have a good balance of usability and simplicity, not overly cluttering up the target view area, I love the reticle in that aspect. its very similar to what is in alot of higher end scope like acss and others. Turrets seem good, solid movement, good lock down, not too obtrusive in size. I LOVE that it comes with the zoom ring lever, or whatever its called. that was a major complaint about my 1-4x( feyachi falcon) was that it was hard to zoom in/out due to the small nub on the zoom ring. that scope has amazing glass for the money, as does this one. I will say the rapidstrike does have a bit more fisheye effect at 1x. its not too bad but is noticable, mainly if looking through say a rds, and then the rapidstrike 1x, you can see the fisheye around the egdes. this is also most noticable at close range, I like to keep lpvo's at like 1.25 and at that setting and at about 20 yards or so, its very clear and not warped at all. light and color transmission is excellent, again for the money, Im not comparing this to anything over the $200 range. the illumination is adequate. not super desert daylight bright, but its pretty good for this class. I primarily use the black etched reticle during the day, and only use the illum. at darker hours or maybe indoors if using this at 1x in "RDS" mode. and i like the green illum for that, its plenty bright, thought I will say there isnt much deviation from one setting to the next, they are all pretty close together in brightness. I need to get some rounds down range with this optic, but so far i like it. Pros: feature rich decent glass decent illumintation good zoom range size/ weight is comparable if not better than peers good turrets good reticle Cons: slight Fisheye at 1x not super daylight bright ... show more

    • Much better than expected
Finally went to the range today to sight in my new scope on my AR15. I previously had a Vortex red dot and a magnifier but wanted a little more magnification. I was surprised how bright and clear this scope is when shooting at distances of 200 yards. I did not expect that it would perform nearly as well as it did and after using it, it is now my choice of optic. The unit is very sturdy and well built, the zoom lever is a great feature and the illumination is very bright in full sun. The only thing I do not know is if it will hold zero, but my bet is that it will. I would highly recommend this and it seems a bargain at the Amazon price. ... show more

I am very impressed with every aspect of this scope. It has all of the features and performance of a scope three times its price. Holds zero, clear glass, no fish eye, and very pronounced click adjustments. I own three strike eagles and this scope is every bit as good as they are. Have been seeing these kinds of optics for a while now and always thought I’d prefer an ACOG, but after shooting a friends that was similar I decided I wanted to try one. Now other than being a cheapskate, I also didn’t want to put several hundred dollars into something I wasn’t sure I’d like. After much research to the frustration of my wife, I stumbled upon this nearly perfect clone of my friends $400 version and pulled the trigger. When this sucker arrived I was out in the range with it fifteen minutes later getting zero, I live offgrid and my range is in the backyard so I didn’t have far to go and thank god as I was like an excited child with a new toy! I was able to zero in three rounds and keyholed two of them! I didn’t believe it myself, so being the diligent little bastard I am I loaded a mag up and went to work on drilling targets and OMG!!!!!!! I would gladly have taken this optic with me to Iraq on any of my three tours had it been available, I am blown away!!!!!! Now I’m also just a retired airborne grunt so I realize my standards aren’t very high, but I’d take this over the ACOG I carried on two tours of Iraq. The green is easier to pick up during the day, the etched reticle means even with a dead battery you still have optics, and the red is easier to pick up at night. To start with, I had to order a replacement. The first one I was sent was obviously used with the packaging material all being opened. Additionally, the battery was already dead in the first one, there were fingerprints on the glass, and the most telling, was that there was carbon buildup under the scope rings from whoever used it previously. The replacement I got was brand new and has been good so far. I haven't used it much, but I was able to zero it one day and then shoot a competition with it a few days later. It held zero all through the competition. The glass is reasonably clear and about the clarity that you'd expect for the price. It isn't $500+ glass, but it isn't junk either. Honestly the worst part is the scope shadowing at higher zoom levels. It leaves very little flexibility in eye location at zoom levels over ~4x. The first focal plane reticle is sharp and clear and the illuminated dot is useful in twilight or low light. The illuminated dot is not daylight bright so you won't see it well on a clear, sunny day. The red is brighter to my eye than the green, which is the exact opposite of other green/red dots that I've used. Typically, green is much brighter, so I'm guessing that the LEDs used here are not super high quality. But if they work, then that's what's important. Again, it's not a $300+ optic. For the price, I'd give it 4 stars. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good. However, I have to remove one more star for the vendor sending me a used one when I bought a new item. If the quality control is so poor that they just resell used ones without marking them as such (or even bothering to refurbish them), then I question the long term quality of this brand. ... show more
