I hooked this up and it failed. All I got was a constant re boot. The power was not sufficient to power the firestick. But . . . I also had bought a bracket to mount the sound bar directly the TV. That required taking down the TV and removing the mounting hardware from the TV. With much better access, I discovered a second USB port. After putting it all back together I tried the newly discovered USB port, and it now works. Lesson learned, or rather reinforced. Not all USB ports are equal. An explanation in the description would be a big help for all us non- techies.

This is my second one. Two years apart, different TV. Same thing that happened 2 years ago. You go thru the whole set up only to receive the message that the “USB does not provide enough power for the device”. Plug Firestick into a wall outlet, it works great. This product does not live up to its promises.
