I am 43 & suddenly on this kick to build old school type decks from my childhood. I'm glad I found these wheels, aside from looking nice, they are a very smooth ride for cruising, I used a higher quality $40 bearings.

Wheels feel harder than 81a to me, but they do last quite a while. Solid for intermediate skaters who want to break out an occasional speed check or power slide. Havenโt really done serious slides since I threw them on a 26.8 inc cruiser, but I would assume theyโre butter with the right setup.

These wheels remind me of back when I was skating on my Hawk old school deck. The ride is super smooth. You don't get hung up in cracks on the sidewalk or pebbles like you do with other wheels. Especially for the money these things are just wicked.

I skate a lot of downhill and free ride and needed some cheap wheels to destroy. Right out of the package they grip really well and will break traction into a slide like butter.
