  • i hated first pixel remaster, this one is better
Style: PlayStation 4
As someone who completely despised the pixel remaster first launch mostly due to the text font. The cringe inducing badly aligned and visible "modernized" font was beyond terrible and looked like a 4th grade css project. It looked like a bad cash grab mobile port ui with zero thought given to it. Here they added a classic pixelized font option which saves the games to a more tolerable manner. The wide screen view, music, water/haze/graphic improvements add a nice touch to a already existing classic series which you know what to expect for better or worst. Best of all 4x experience + gold boost toggle which saves unneeded hours of grinding minimal exp, which series was notoriously known for back in the day. While it can help reduce grinding it doesnt break the games lile ff7 ff9 did with unlimited limits or infinite hp. You can still easily get KOed especially in ff1 and ff2. Honestly its the best way to replay these games without bootleg mods or infinite gamebreaking cheats. But most importantly SWITCH TO PIXELIZED FONT. ... show more

  • Great collection of Squaresoft classics
Style: Nintendo Switch
A great collection of the Final Fantasy games from the first all the way to part six which is considered a classic. Crisp visuals, and the audio is great, nicely composed classics like the Final Fantasy Battle Theme along with the Victory theme. Would recommend to anyone, even those that never played Final Fantasy. There's a reason why these games are cherished classics and I would highly recommend adding these to your collection. ... show more

  • Awesome remaster, fans of old & new should definitely get this!
Style: PlayStation 4
Full collection on 1 disc for the ps4, with offline play, & you can download one at a time even without internet. Anniversary Edition comes with some stickers of the characters, & from what I understand (not sure how true it is) but I read online that the Pixel Remasters have extra content compared to the original release. ... show more

  • a collection of historic JRPGs!
Style: Nintendo Switch
i don't know where to start writing this review. i cant put into words how important these games are to video gaming history. this collection includes Final Fantasy 1-6. for those who may not know..in the west, we got Final Fantasy 1 on NES and Final Fantasy 4 and 6 which was released as Final Fantasy 2 and 3 respectively on SNES. i know it's confusing, but in this collection, the chronological order have been corrected. for those who are younger or never played the originals this information wouldn't matter, just buy this collection and you're all set. i have tried out all the games in this collection, all require a very small download around 50mb-120mb. no big deal for me. so all the games seems to be included INSIDE the cartridge. so it's not like they put 1 game on cart and you have to download the rest of the games, nope, not here, you get ALL games included on cart! good! that's what i want!! im looking at you capcom!!! i won't get into how the games are like, it's orignal Final Fantasy. they need no introduction. this collection are for older fans, this is a no brainer for them, i also urge younger gamers to buy this as well. this are games i will tell people that they MUST play beforre they die. these are games that built the modern JRPG genre that many people love today!! i would also go as far as to say that these games also built up the entire modern video gaming culture that we enjoy today! no one can deny the impact Final Fantasy has had on video games. it's impact is still felt today. these games are historic, they are pioneers. they are incredible. go buy this collection right now!! there is still some complaints i have w/this collection. no manuals!!! what the heck square!!! these are old school JRPGs and they didn't think to include some physical goodies like a manual and maps like back in the old days!! all i got are stickers!!! seriously?! square did this collection dirty. they should have honored this collection w/physical goodies like a manual and maps. also, why is this collection $70?! i see no reason for square charging this much! this collection should be $40, $50 tops!! Square is being greedy. well there is my review. i hope this helps. ... show more

  • Old school RBGs
Style: Nintendo Switch
Great combo. As a fan of the old school RPG era games. Having 6 of final fantasy series on one card was a score for me. Final fantasy weather one of the first RPGs I played but it was on the NES. This has same game play. Brought back so many memories. The cost was great too.
