After relying on an AirTag and realizing how much it DIDN’T help when your dog gets lost, we quickly upgraded to Fi after our neighbor recommended it. Cannot say enough great things about the Fi collar. We used, and loved, a GPS version of an invisible fence collar for our last dog, but our new dog is somewhat of a rescue. She is in no way, shape, or form going to be an off-leash pet for a long time - we unfortunately learned this the hard way when she bolted out of her kennel one evening. Although she had an AirTag on her collar, our remote location and her never being in close enough proximity to anyone with an iPhone was a huge issue. Our neighbor, who helped us look for our dog, strongly recommended a Fi collar, and we now understand why! Great product, easy to set up, connectivity with GPS/cellular/bluetooth/Wifi is spot on, and it’s been very durable. The low profile of the device is great, and we love that we have so many collar options from awesome Fi Makers. 10/10 will be our choice for all of our future dogs!

This is the greatest piece of mind for my family and I after our baby yorkie got out and we only got him back by pure luck of a Good Samaritan, he is a little escape artist and after that I had a panic attack every day wondering if he was safe at home. I love being able to know when he’s napping, playing, etc. it’s incredibly accurate and doesn’t weigh him down ( he’s only a few pounds) we ordered the smallest size and it’s perfect for him. The band is extremely tough material, the app is always on point, never crashes and the battery charge lasts months. Couldn’t love this app more!

We absolutely love the collar and all the capabilities it offers. It gives us a peace of mind knowing if our dog leaves our “safe zone” and also knowing how active he is on a daily basis. We also love the community that Fi offers with other pet owners. It’s durable, as our dog loves the water. It was easy to set up and connect, and the battery life has been great.

Hard No. I tried this after my dog’s old wireless fence collar broke and was lost in the yard somewhere. He is trained to stay in the boundary by the vibration or beep. Huge fail 1:There is no vibration, or audible notification to let him know he has gone past the boundary.. 2: My address does not show up on the map in the apps correctly. 3: notifications come in as a text message. Which I have yet to hear alert me when my dog has wandered off too far. Im assuming that’s my phone settings but it’s a flaw in the system. My dog can cover ground fast. 1 hour later when I happen to notice I had a text message my dog could be in another state or worse… I was just outside my return by a couple days when he figured out he had no fence which is on me for not taking it out of the box sooner. I will be going back to a wireless fence that has a receiver that makes noise both at the base to alert me and the collar to alert the dog. I hope this helps others with same needs.

It took a bit of trouble shooting at first to get the safe zone working properly. It's still not perfect and it's delayed some but it's close. The customer service people have been very helpful and great to chat with and help you understand whatever questions you have. I got the extra small. Im using this with my cat. He is 10.5lbs. I can't really see how a very small dog or toy breed would do with this. Dogs necks are longer but my cat is twice the size and it's enough that I take it off him when he comes in and we put his regular collar back on. Not the most comfortable collar on that small of a pet. It would be helpful if the collar wasn't so wide. The GPS is flat and thin which was one of the top reasons I bought it. The weight and design is better than other GPS collars. The distance we've gone so far has been 7 miles from the base and it's still working perfectly fine. It knew we drove to the vet and the location was accurate. The battery lasts a very long time. I charge it when it's at 80%. I haven't let it go beyond that but it takes over a week to use that 20%. I bought the one that tracks steps, sleep, and walks. There is a difference between the more expensive one. The other one has more health information. This one was suitable for our needs. Not perfect but better than any of the other options out there. I will continue past the free membership period.

Purchased this collar to keep track of my Irish Wolfhound on two acres that isn't fenced in. Using Fi, i was able to setup a safe zone and the gps was spot on with keeping track of him. I set the safe zone smaller than the property and whenever he crosses the line, i use his training collar to notify him that he's out of bounds. He now knows where he can go and can get plenty of exercise. Not to mention, when the dogsitter takes him to the park, it shows up on the app where they are, even while she is driving. Awesome priduct! I'm hooked!

After exhaustive research it was clear the Fi Collar was the one to get. After using it for awhile, it’s clear why this collar is simply the best. Easy to setup. Easy to use. Don’t waste your time on other collars; they are bulky and clunky. The Fi collar is light and streamlined. Your dog won’t even know it’s on.

Most of the time it showed Rusty sitting on the front porch even though we let him out the back door. Bc of that he only logged 419 steps a day. One “walk” logged was through the woods under the fence, around the neighbors barn, into the next neighbors yard, back under the fence, through the trees and back into our yard. The dog did all that but it was definitely not me taking him on a walk. Never notifies me when he leaves safe zone. At least it has shown me,in retrospect, where he is getting in and out. When I tried to set up the collar customer service said it was already registered to someone else and asked if I had bought it secondhand or if it was a gift- that was odd since I bought it new from Amazon. Just not what we needed with our escape artist, I guess. This is not very responsive if you are looking for something to alert you quickly. It is very well made, compact and comfortable.
