When I started working for myself, I found myself sitting on the couch while I worked more often than not. And then when the pandemic hit, I was even more sedentary. My New Year's resolution was to stop sitting, so I researched standing adjustable desks and settled on this one. It was well-reviewed, and by far the least expensive option I could find. The desk arrived on Dec. 31--just in time for me to make good on my resolution. It was easy to put together. The only issue is that my delivery was short by two screws, so I haven't yet installed the drawer. But it came together very easily, and it looks great. The desk is fully adjustable, with space for four presets, so you can have one for standing, one for sitting, one to elevate your camera to get a better angle for video conferencing, and a fourth for anything else that you'd need. It's very sturdy, and when the motor is adjusting the height, it's completely stable. You can have a nearly full cup of coffee on the table, or a desk lamp, and you don't have to worry about any of that toppling or spilling while adjusting the height. I toyed with the idea of getting a desk lamp with a clamp for the new desk, but I didn't want to mar the finish. In retrospect, I don't think I needed to worry. Though I got the rustic wood finish, it's laminate (but still looks terrific--you'd never know until you touch it and find that it's completely smooth), so I don't think a clamp would actually hurt the finish. But since the desk is so stable, there's no issue having a stand-alone desk lamp. In order to use the cord management tray, I'm going to need a power strip with a longer cord. Right now, my cord situation is a bit of a mess, because my power strip needs a longer cord. But overall, I'm thrilled with the desk. I'm standing at it right now, as I type this review. For the money, you really can't do better. And looking at some of the reviews for desks that are four times as expensive--why would you pay more than you have to?

I do like the final product, for the price I got a great electric stand table, its nice and quiet and wide, I love the rustic look, and the back that has a hidden wire draw and it comes with wire hiding zips that are very cool to stick the wires to the table. There are 2 hooks to hang earphones and I hang my hair scrunchy and a mask. The draw is very flimsy but its nice for pens and charger. Pros: quiet, sleek looking, very affordable, and hides wires very very well. Cons: assembly, assembly took me a long time. The instructions went well until I got to the sync rod. I used a you tube clip I found called Money Talks with Justin. That helped me figure out the assembly especially the last sections as he did it on the floor, and the instruction stood the desk up. Over all: I love it. Looks good and works great.

My wife bought one of these a while back. She loves it. I'm back in school and needed a desk. Looked at tons of them here on Amazon, and for the price, think this is about as good as it gets. Two in desk grommets for cable management. Easy up/down controls with memory settings. Didn't think I was going to use the little drawer, but it holds computer mice and wires and all the little things you need occasionally. Assembles in less than an hour. Everything included except a Phillips screwdriver. All you need is a comfy chair and a little power strip and your favorite desk tchotchkes.

I've been using the desk for less than a week, but so far it's great. If you're considering a standing desk and aren't sure if you want an electric motor or not, get the electric motor. The instructions were very clear, and there aren't that many pieces to put together. The materials feel very sturdy, except the top comes in 2 pieces and I'll be curious to see how it holds up over time. That said, even if the top goes bad, it'd be pretty easy to replace it with a solid piece of wood later. I love the presets. There are four options, though I expect I'd only use two (if you have more than one person at the desk, I can see the benefit of four). It goes slightly lower than a normal desk. For standing, I'm 6', and I can get the table high enough to be comfortable, and there's still room to go up. The drawer in the middle is a little odd, but I think they designed it to go between the arms of a chair pushed in. The wire rack in the back is good for the power supplies to sit in. The two design features that could have used some more love are the rack for the drawer (it's pretty flimsy and might be good to have a brace) and the split top. I get why the top is split, it's much easier to package and ship that way. And it has braces to hold them together as well as brackets to attach both pieces to the frame as one unit. Time will tell how well it holds up. The other thing I can see coming off sooner rather than later is the veneer across the edge of the table. But for the price, this is overall a very good deal.
