The desk works for being the least expensive "rustic wood" standing desk I could find. It came with two annoyances. 1) The bracket to hold the PSU was missing. The box says on The outside to contact the company if any parts are missing, so I did that. It's only been a few days so I would not have received the part by now, but I will update this review if I do or do not receive it. I used a piece of strap that I have in its place as a workaround for now. 2) The item didn't match the picture. The hooks are set up one for each side and the controller was 8 inches towards the center, not right on the corner. The controller location especially was problematic because it meant I would not be able to attach my keyboard tray. However, it wasn't too hard to drill new holes and move the items. It came with a lot of extra screws and adhesive cable management, so that was a plus. I'll be able to attach my surge protector to the underside of the desk. I gave it 3 stars for being inexpensive and totally workable. If I get the bracket, I'll add a star, and if I don't get it I'll remove a star. UPDATE: Fezibo was quick to respond to my email. Unfortunately, they did not have the bracket, but they refunded me an amount that made me happy to solve the problem, so I added another star. ... show more

    • Good standing desk for those on a budget

I ordered this desk because I was having back/leg pain from sitting all day while working from home. After looking at many options, I landed on this one and it’s pretty nice. I would have to say the nicest part about this desk is the motor/programmable heights. It runs quite smoothly and is more powerful than I was expecting (a good thing!). Sound of operation is on-par with similar products although it does move a little slower than the professional standing desks you see in modern-day offices. I like the digital display and the simplicity of the controls. I also really like the object detection so it doesn’t damage other objects or itself when adjusting to a different height. The only thing I would like to have seen on this desk would be a solid wood top. They split the desk top into two pieces so it’s easier to ship but I would have loved to have a solid top because the line in the center of the top is slightly irritating. Fortunately putting a large desk mat on your work space takes care of this issue (I highly recommend if purchasing this desk). The desk is also sturdier than I was expecting based on reviews I had read before purchasing. I read the comments and a few mention they don’t care for its sturdiness but it does better than I expected for such a small foot print. If you have the budget to go for a professional grade standing desk then I would look further into those but if you’re like me, a *struggling* recent college graduate, this desk is perfect for you. ... show more

Assembly was near perfect with 2 small hiccups 2 screws either shipped stripped or stripped going in to the wood somehow. They gave enough extras though so it was ok. Only other little issue is the screws that secure the control module to the bottom of the desk are a pretty small Phillips head and most screw drivers that small are hard to turn by hand so a drill with a small bit is necessary. Otherwise thing seems tip top after a few hours usage. The table top itself is two halfs so if you can't deal with the little seam don't buy. The base of the desk is incredibly sturdy and heavy, the actual desk part is like a thin particle board so it's not the best but it's what would be expected for the price you pay. The lift motor is pretty good, but programming the heights was a little complicated. The instructions are not very helpful as some of the images are backwards. They did provide at least one extra screw for each one, which is a nice little addition in case you lose one. Our plan is to construct our own desk top to replace the one that it came with so that it will better support a monitor mount because the base is completely fine. ... show more

Set up this desk to replace an old lean-to desk that didn't have enough room (either on the desk or overhead) for a second monitor. Assembly was very simple, instruction illustrations could be tweaked a bit, but overall were good and I was done in a little more than an hour. Biggest issue that I had was the connector which allowed both legs to raise/lower at the same time. I did need to remove it, after everything else was assembled, and reconnect as it was fully able to insert on both sides at the same time (so only one side was rising at a time. Once I fixed it, it works great. Seems very sturdy, and the quality is good. I do have a large desk mat already, so the split in the middle doesn't bother me. ... show more

The desk arrived faster than I thought, which was great. It really only took about 30 minutes to put together, however, I spent almost 30 minutes just on step 3 trying to get these little tiny plastic screws into the cylinder that holds the hydraulic arm (the straight metal rod that goes side to side) in place - never managed to do it because the drilled holes seemed too wide to get the screws to catch and tighten. Desk seems to be holding together fine for the moment without them and functioning properly. Overall, this is a good basic motorized sit/stand desk, and I got what I expected. I needed multiple desks, so I wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles, and this suited my needs. The desks look great, and I haven't had any issues with the motors or controller. One thing that I didn't expect was that the desk surface is not a single solid piece, so there will be a long seam down the middle. Due to the wood grain pattern on the desk surface, it's not particularly noticeable, but it might stand out more with a solid color desktop. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a good price on a sit/stand desk, assuming they don't need or want any special features (solid desktop, wobble reinforcement, recessed controller, built-in power ports, etc.). ... show more
