I ordered this desk to match my (Husband) Arturia MK II keyboard studio. Well done and solid. Great look in my private corner studio. Can be raised or lowered if I want to stand and work. Easy directions and build.

The Desk works as it should. I am 6 foot tall and the lowest and highest settings are perfect for me. I love the ability to set predefined heights with the 1 and 2 buttons (which for me is all they way up and down). This is definitely a nice feature as our other sit/stand desk does not have memory settings and it can be quite annoying to have to hold the button the whole time the desk is moving. The motor is not loud. Assembly took about 30 minutes. (in the instructions near the first step is says to make sure to leave 2 screws loose. It never said to tighten these. I am pretty sure at the end of assembly these should be tightened and I did.) The top is split into two 1 foot sections that span the entire width of the desktop and for the most part that is ok. The only issue is that if my mouse goes over the edge just a little bit it rocks when clicking buttons. again. not a major issue just an annoyance when this happens. I use a large deskpad (16 x 32) instead of a little mouse pad. This is why it is 4 stars instead of 5. My main concern with this desk is the lack of a cross brace at the front of the desk which cause the front board to sag when weight is applied such as resting my arms on it. Currently the deflection is is just a little and it goes back into its normal straight position when the weight is removed. But, as we all know, this will not last forever. Look at a bookshelf without any support across its front edge. The board will bow over time and cause an issue. I got this desk on a good sale and it only cost me about $100. I will keep it for now and will soon make a cross brace for the front out of some steel to make sure it lasts longer. I think this should be included in with the product when purchased (I hope the vendor or manufacturer takes note of this). The frame seems sturdy enough for now and only time will tell if it lasts. It would not be difficult to make a custom solid wood desktop for this stand if I ever needed to. The first picture is to show my deskpad and setup The Second picture is to show where there shoud be a cross brace at the front. (the under desk cable management basket does not come with the desk. make sure to get one that is wide enough so that your device(s) are not affected by the brackets at the back of the desk.) ... show more

As most of us do, I made a decision to buy this desk based on reviews and price. I was aware that this wasn't a high-end desk, but I did expect that it would actually work. I took my time putting this desk together. Before I assembled the entire thing, I thought ahead (haven't always done that in the past...I can learn) and plugged in the motor to be sure it worked. The motor turned on and rotated. When I got to the step in the instructions where I was to secure the motor to the underside of the desk, the motor did not fit as described. The instructions showed two pieces of rubber on either side of the motor that were to be secured to the bottom of the desk with supplied screws. The problem was that the motor did not lie flat to the bottom of the desk as pictured. Yes, I verified that I followed the instructions properly, yet the motor simply did not reach the desk in order to secure it to the desk. I then looked at some YouTube videos on assembling this product and saw something strange. The desk and motor in these videos (same item name & number) were NOT the same as the desk in front of me. These desks were more solid and the motor was 2 to 3 times larger than the one I had been given. This made me come back here to look through the reviews again. After looking at photos and videos here, it was clear that this company is using reviews that were for a superior product. A product that received many positive reviews. Purchasers were happy with it. At some point, they replaced parts with inferior ones, but kept the model name and number. FALSE ADVERTISING! I went through the proper channels here on Amazon and was put in touch with the seller. I included photos (as requested) and described my situation. I made it clear that I was not looking for a full refund and that I would be satisfied with a replacement motor that actually worked. This seller is apparently not in the U.S. as all communication was sent at 2am (PST), making it take days to communicate with them. In each of their three replies, they ignored what I had written and suggested that I do things that were impossible - like secure the motor to the bottom of the desk. I finally called Amazon back and told them that I would not be communicating with the seller any longer. They wanted to give me a full refund, but they wanted me to disassemble and return the desk! I spent WAY too much time hiding computer cables and assembling the desk to start the process all over again. My advice–based on this experience–is to spend a little few more dollars and purchase a different desk from a different seller. I thought I had gotten a pretty good deal, but the time spent on this has now put me in the negative. So, I am now the owner of a standing desk that I will not be able to stand at – unless I find a replacement motor that makes this desk actually work. For now, I have wasted too much time on this and have to get some overdue work done. ... show more
