This desk is exactly what I was looking for. The standing portion of the desk works perfectly, and the desk still looks presentable/cute and has storage (rather than the traditional bare bones standing desk). I have two large monitors and my laptop on the standing portion, so it fits a lot. I love this desk. My ONLY complaint is that the file drawer is a tiny too shallow. The papers all brush off the desk drawer when I open it and close it. Not enough to take away a star. Just a thing to note if you really need the file.

    • Quirky but visually nice and works for the most part
I've been using this desk setup for the past 3 months and have mixed thoughts. For the standing desk itself, no complaints. It was relatively easy to assemble alone as a 6ft tall woman who technically built it upside down and some other tweaks to make it easier on myself. It works great, remembers my settings and I have it on the wheels for my height and ease of movement when I need to get behind things. All complaints are for the accompanying shelving and file cabinet combo furniture. Yes, they look nice and I already knew about the small shelf height which is fine as I have medical coding books that are floppy and best laid on their sides instead. However, it was not fun to build. Coming from a person who actually likes building IKEA furniture, putting it together by myself is the norm. For the most part, assembly was smooth except for when the metal pieces were drilled just enough off to make the alignment difficult and even the little holes in the back for drilling in the support brackets were way off. None of the brackets were drilled with their proper hole so I just had to make it work. Overall, it's assembled and looks fine. Functionally, the filing cabinet drawer drives me crazy. The bars used to hand your files don't go down far enough into the drawer so any folder labels/tabs are taller than the drawer. It's a little fight to open and close it each time as a result. The drawer above it opens each time with it from the folder tabs and I have to force it closed to get to the files. The frustrating part is that there's a good inch under the hanging folders if only the bars went lower. Almost tempted to see about carving the noches down further to make it fit properly but I've never tried anything like that before and it's an expensive piece of furniture altogether, even if made out of particle board. Was it really worth the price considering standing desks are as low as $120 on here and the whole reason I bought this version was the lockable file drawer? Not really. But it's here, assembled, and I love the desk and how it looks in my home office. Just wish the additional furniture was designed with a little more care to detail. ... show more

We were able to put it together but it took a couple of hours (we also have never put together furniture before, so it may take someone else less time). Overall, super happy with this purchase. It is sturdy, and the fact that the standing desk is electric is awesome. You can also configure it in a different way (meaning the storage doesn't have to be on the right).     • Absolute garbage and seller super slow to respond
These desks are unbelievably overpriced! They are shaky unsturdy badly designed cheap garbage selling for real money. One full desk came damaged and I almost missed my business opening because of how long it took them to respond to my issues. The drawers are horribly designed so the if u put files in the file cabinet it won’t close lol. Shaky build makes it scary and delicate to use. Real true garbage product ... show more

Firstly - the desk (mine is light walnut and white) is well packaged, gorgeous and solidly designed. Very minimal use of cam- locks - and never as the primary way two pieces are held together. Secondly, don’t let the reviews complaining about directions put you off - no they do not have words but neither does a popular toy company that rhymes with “Kego” and these are laid out in the same way.
