I've got an MFT-3 table and this mobile workshop is a perfect extension for longer boards. Even the small surface on top of the mobile workshop is the ideal height to use with the rest of the MFT family. Drawer and space below is large enough for quite a few sustainers - super handy.

I should probably not be "fessing" up to this but I have three of these; two at my house and the latest in the work area of my yacht. It allows my to store all my tools in Large Systainer organizers (8) stacked into the frame with a Medium at the base.

Had the same issue assembling the base as another reviewer here, that was corrected by salesman and made good. The unit when stored is very tippy and was knocked over with barely a touch. Must put weight in the lower storage!! Bent the rails and the plastic clip that attaches table to station. Overall so far so good but take your time assembling and watch the YouTube videos for sure. Be careful transporting and it will likely be worth the investment! ... show more

I am a hardwood flooring installer and paired this up with my Milwaukee cordless chopsaw and love it. I love the versatility of the unit and I’ve purchased an extra wing so I can extend farther or both sides or even an L shape. If you’ve dipped into the green koolaid this is an awesome addition.

This unit uses sheet metal screws to attach the aluminum extrusions to the base. The screws are supposed self-tap into the end of the extrusion. Two of the four screws sheared off when attempting to install them. I was shocked by how soft the screws were as I was only applying moderate torque using a T-handle allen driver. After the first failure I was being extra careful to install the remaining screws very slowly but to no avail. What followed was a miserable experience extracting the broken screws, tapping the extrusion with an M5 thread, and installing proper machine screws as should have been done in the first place. I have had the mw 1000 mobile work station for 2 years, it has been sitting in my shed for most of that time and used as a workbench. I have only moved it maybe 6 times. This past weekend I packed it up to take over to my dad's house, pulled the mobile base up two small stairs to his back porch and the wheel just broke off. I had read someone else have the same issue, after looking at the break, there is no way this tool is built to withstand regular use. It is pure junk, I am (after this that maybe I 'was') a Festool junkie. I have a kapex, a track saw with multiple tracks, a router, a domino, several sanders, an MFT table, a bunch of accessories and their largest dust collector, they are stupid expensive, but quality has always been there. NOT this junk. Save yourself some money and don't buy this junk. Festool should be ashamed to sell such an inferior product, maybe 1.5 dollars more of reinforcement to the wheel channel would have prevented this damage. Festool cut corners to save a few pennies. ... show more
