The flat, elongated design will not rotate, ensuring perfect alignment for both edge and face gluing. Suitable for both plywood and solid wood applications, the dense beech tenon will not expand or telegraph through material, leaving you with clean, flat, and consistent surfaces. If you have a Domino jointer you need Dominos. Can't beat these for performance and uniformity. If you can afford one do yourself a favor and buy a Domino jointer. I own two Festool tools - the Domino and the t55 track saw. Both have made life in the shop so much easier and fun.

These work great for quick and strong joints in a woodworking project. I have tried making my own tenon stock, but they just don't work dependably. Festool dominoes are uniform in size and a pleasure to use. Highland Woodworking delivered the purchase quickly and allowed me to finish several projects that were being put together in the shop. I wish I had the time and energy to make my own tenons to use with my domino joiner. But I don't. These fit perfect every time, are delivered fast, and if used with the proper amount of glue, are super strong. Buy them in bulk, better price and you will be more likely to turn to this tool which is never a mistake. I use a small paint brush to apply glue in the mortise and on the tenon. Much better technique to lightly cover all surfaces to be glued than to just squeeze the glue in the mortise and hope that it will cover well. ... show more

As always Festool's products work out perfectly. It creates and nice snug fit with the dominoer. It is the same price as buying it at my local woodworking store. However that store has been out of stock the last few times I drove out to get them. So with free shipping this was the best route to take. I like to sand them down a bit so that I don't have to use pliers to pull them out when dry fitting. ... show more
