  • My favorite way of securing a guitar strap
Strap blocks are extra insurance that when you bend down with guitar strapped on to say change settings on your pedal board you won't experience that dreaded, "crashing" noise of your prized investment,"guitar" hitting the ground and announcing it to your audience via the cable connected between it and it's respective amplifier it's mated to. Simply said, yet often the case without the small investment in strap button security. ... show more

  • These work really well. Might be cheaper to get generic.
I use these all the time. They work really well. They hav a tight fit over strap knobs. Might be cheaper to get a generic set.

  • Simply a better option than futzing with new screws/posts for Schaller-style locks etc
To reiterate the headline: "Simply a better option than futzing with new screws/posts for Schaller-style locks etc" On almost every guitar where I've installed hardware-type Schaller-style "strap-lok" systems, there's just something about unscrewing & re-screwing the strap-anchoring screws (or replacing them with the ones provided with the new hardware), those screws seem to eventually develop problems & start to wiggle & work their way to a point where they can slip out & drop your axe HARD. These rubber washers make it nearly impossible for your strap to slip off the original strap posts, even when, as I often do, you wear the guitar across your back, neck-down, like a bow-&-arrow would ride, or something. No mod necessary, rock-solid-secure...the only thing I like better is the D'Addario nylon straps with straight grommets for the strap screws, & mountaineer-style quick-release clips "upstream" from the posts. Very rare to see this kind of value (& peace of mind) costing THIS little; take advantage. ;) (Note: I'm buying these even tho I know I have at least two pair somewhere in my "guitar accessories" bin...cuz, like RAM & disck-space...there is no "enough" lol) ... show more

  • Great Peace of Mind
These are great for keeping your strap on your guitar long-term. They are hard to muscle over the strap button at first, but loosen up a bit over time. I can’t stand strap-locks, and these are the perfect alternative for a great price. I can grab a guitar and throw the strap over my head with absolute confidence that my strap is secure. 2 Things to note; First, if your strap buttons aren’t super-tightly screwed in, these rubber locks can grip the button and loosen it over time, so check your screws regularly. Secondly; if you’re going to try to swing your guitar around your body like a coked-out rockstar, anything can happen, and I wouldn’t expect these little rubber rings to save your guitar from flying away from you like a Free Bird ... show more
