  • What you see in their photo isn’t what you’ll get
Size: 24 Pack
I bought this pack specifically because I wanted to get a couple of each color shown in the photo for the 24 pack. What I received was okay, but it isn’t what I thought I’d be getting. I was shipped 8 of each thickness: 4 Heavy Brown, 4 Heavy Gray, 4 Medium White, 4 Medium Purple, 4 Thin Dark Blue, 4 Thin Light Blue. There are No Green, Abalone, or Confetti, and there is no variety within the color/thickness (would be nice to have a heavy, thin, and medium of each color). They are *very* nice picks, but they should not advertise the variety pack having all of those fun colors when you don’t actually get all of them. From some of the other comments, I gather they used to send true variety packs, but recent orders seem to be getting quite a bit less variety. Seller, please update your photos if you are only sending certain colors, and don’t lead people to believe they’re getting such an assortment. ... show more

  • The description is literal: only 3 types of picks
Size: 24 Pack
I bought this after buying a few "variety packs" from Dunlop, which literally give you about a dozen different types of picks in the pack, one of each. Those are great because you'll probably find several that you like, with different uses. I assumed this pack, which includes "Thin, Medium, and Heavy Gauges" in "many different styles and colors" would be similar. I thought a green Thin would be different from a blue Thin, and so on. NOPE, there are just 3 types of picks here, Thin, Medium and Heavy, 8 of each. All the Thins are the same, likewise for the other thicknesses. Thankfully, I like the Medium pick; it's fairly similar to my favorite, the orange Tortex, but with a slightly fuller sound and different finish. So now I have 8 of those, and 16 other picks I'll never use. But that wasn't worth $11 in my opinion. Especially when the Dunlop variety packs are only $4. If you're looking for a true variety, you're better off buying three different Dunlop variety packs for about the same price. ... show more

  • Too expensive
Size: 24 Pack
This collection of 24 picks, in three thicknesses (no x-heavies), comes in a limited color variety. Now, I don't care about the color of the pick (unless it's completely obnoxious) and the selection in this pack is good enough for me (I know some reviewers want more variety). The split of thicknesses is fine as well. And the quality of the picks is what you'd expect: a nice Fender product although calling the picks "premium" is a stretch. I do think they are overpriced. It comes to about forty-five cents each! I can get them at the guitar store for less. Had I calculated in advance I wouldn't have ordered these. I'll go three stars because I just don't think this pack provides enough value. ... show more

  • However they are amazing for rhythm
Size: 24 Pack
The material on these picks is very slick, and they are not sharp at all. If you want to do lead playing, I wouldn't use them. However they are amazing for rhythm ... the material and curve just makes them glide across the strings so well. You can strum fast as heck and as light as a feather far easier than many other materials/brands. 5 stars for the excellent strumming. ... show more

  • Picks look nice, have a nice variety -- and of course work well. Just don't rely on the printed writing!
Size: 24 Pack
Really the only 'con' to these is that the lettering fades very quickly; after a day or two of use, I'm having to very carefully look to see where it says "medium", "thin", "thick", etc. Though admittedly...it's not hard to tell which one is which by feel -- but just know that the gold writing will wear off quickly. Overall though, great variety of picks for a relatively small amount of money -- and delivered with Prime quickly. :) ... show more

  • It's raining guitar picks!
Size: 24 Pack
I got EXACTLY what i was expecting.... a whole lot of Fender picks of differing thicknesses. All new and nice, etc. Since some reviewers complained somewhat that they wanted a certain thickness in a certain color (smh, why did they order a sampler pack then, lol) but here's what I received, YMMV - remember it's a sampler pack, so you'll get a sample of whatever they have available: 4 light/medium blue thin 4 white thin 4 dark blue medium 4 green medium 4 dark grey heavy 4 purple heavy ... show more

  • Great picks at a great price...
Size: 24 Pack
Love these picks!!! I used to buy them 2 at the time from a local store but when the grand kids realized what you use them for after I got them a kids guitar, I started looking for my picks a lot. I typically thread one on my fender's strings while it sits on the stand but they always come in my office and take it. They ask, I say sure, just make sure you put it back and next thing you know I have no pick. So these solved a big problem because I keep the package in my drawer and I always put a new one on the guitar so the little ones can keep losing them while there is still another one for me to use. ... show more

  • They do the job well
Size: 24 Pack
I'm not really a guitar player but I've used these for quite some time as well as different brands and I've had these endure my below average strums and power chord plays. They're holding out fairly well. I even have them all still Not a fan of the thins, or mediums for all that matter, but maybe its just my large hands. Very nice product still from when I was learning and I don't see why I couldn't recommend them to anyone who plays professionally. ... show more
