Quality was excellent, especially for the price. sound is superb, weight is nice, neck feels nice, frets are a good size (medium jumbo). I was concerned about the pau ferro fret board, but it looks sharp (use a little lemon oil to darken it). The only complaint is one fret end was just a touch high, i hit with a file and no more problem. Overall a great purchase at a great price!

I purchased the Strat HSS in Polar White w/ the Pau Fero fret board on sale for $717 and I couldn't have made a better purchase. The finish was blemish free, the fret's are very smooth, very easy to move up and down the neck. I also purchased Fender locking tuners that I will install the first time I replace the strings. The stock tuners are fine but these will make changing strings a little faster. I have locking tuners on my Les Paul and I really like them.

Only got it because there was a "used" one for a nice markdown. Couldn't really find any damage in the guitar, but someone had tried to adjust the FR and made a bit of a mess. I got it back to level and get the tuning / tension on point. It's pretty darn nice. Pickups aren't as good as the noiseless or V-Mods, but work pretty well for me (I did not swap them out).

Exceptional value imo. Regarding the law of diminishing returns I don't see why I'd spend 5 or 6 bills more for the non MIM Fender. This is a quality for cost instrument. Fender has done a great job w their MIM line. It came well packaged. Mine is Polar white. I didn't attach the tremelo bar for these pics. The case is my old fender case not to confuse anyone it didn't come with the guitar. Every aspect of it is 100%. The finish is perfect and it's incredibly beautiful. Everything is set up to play. Neck is straight, frets seem fine. Bridge is floated and she seems to hold pitch but I only do mild dives at best. Over-all I'm very happy, not one imperfection. And it sounds great so far. For now my old MIM is my player. This one I'll work in slowly. I'll know in time if I need to tweak anything but so far she seems great.

Package arrived safely althought the Amazon driver decided NOT to place it on my porch and closer to the street where anyone could have passed by and swiped it. After unboxing, and taking a closer I see that there is no damage to the paint or fretboard. No flaws in the paint or neck. Upon further inspection, I noticed the Tremelo block was drilled incorrectly for the tremelo bar and causes the tremolo bar to sit too far forward. I dont use the tremelo bar so its not an issue for me especially with the discount I received. Also another note is that the string alignment is very slightly off where the low E string is closer to the edge of fretboard causing it to come off the fretboard on aggressive bends. Loosening the Neck screws and slightly resetting the neck should fix this. After playing it the neck feels very comfortable and the sound is very good! For the price I paid I am satisfied with my purchase. The issues that exist can be corrected with minimal effort.

I have a long history of these guitars. With that said the neck is crap shoot from the factory, especially the nut. The one I got had a small finish flaw near the left horn, but you have to look real hard to see it. The strings through the nut on mine are so tight it wont tune very well, but I will try to work on that later. The neck seems very good though ..and I think I will keep it. Tide pool blue looks beautiful on this guitar. Oh, the one I got weighs like 10lbs or more. Might be the heaviest Stratocaster I have ever picked up. I still think I will keep it. Pickups sounds great and makes me feel there is no reason to buy the USA version. Did I get a B stock? I might have? Thankfully, Amazon has easy returns. Update: The return may be easy, but your money may be gone for an entire month on this one. They don't refund when product is pickup. You have to weight for the entire process to be done before getting your funds back. If I would have known this I would not have ordered through Amazon. It was the only reason I did order through Amazon. Very disappointed. I should have went through Sweetwater!

I bought this to replace a Standard Stratocaster from 2004. I think they called it Arctic White, back then. This is a better quality instrument than the earlier version. The pickups are miles ahead of the ceramic ones that Fender previously used. I checked mine over for any flaws. Didn't find a single one. Very nice fret work. It did, however; need a set up. I set mine to the suggested Fender specifications. I also added 2 tremolo springs to the 3 that were on it. This is an intermediate level instrument that can hold its own against any in this price range. I would highly recommend to anyone short of a professional muscian.
