First off I ordered from overseas in Europe. Shipping was fast. Like others have said, Fender could have done a better job with protecting the guitar in it's shipping box. Both the head stock and the strap clip on the body punched holes in the cardboard ends, but not all the way through. Luckily the only issue was that the strap button loosened up, but was easy to tighten up with no damage. The head stock was undamaged. So far love the fat juicy sound, whammy bar is a lot of fun. Neck is certainly full sized and this guitar is over all bigger and heavy than other guitars, so may require a larger case. Overall love the silky satin finish on the neck and frets are larger and finished nicely. The sage mint metallic paint is finished beautifully, little dusty on arrival but cleaned up nicely. Looking to years of fun on this guitar, and even if its not being played, its a beautiful piece that does not break the bank. Looking forward playing some surf music and alternative stuff. Enjoy if you acquire one, hit a music store if your able to avoid the possible shipping damage. ... show more

We got this guitar for my son since it was a Fender but wasn't over $1000 . It's well made and came mostly setup. The fit and finish is excellent and the sound is what you want from a Jaguar. There was a bit of a rattle in the bridge which is a well known complaint. After setting the intonation, we removed the set screws for the bridge height, 12 in total, applied some blue thread locker, and put them back in evenly. That quieted things right down. ... show more

    • Amazingly beautiful and great playing guitar after changing the strings out
Everything was great upon arrival except the tone switch know was broken off and there was a sitar sounding B string. I'm sure fender will replace the know for free, but I did have to change out the strings it came with because I had a bad sounding sitar-like B string. After changing out the strings it sounds great. This guitar came in such a mess it was unplayable. The pickups are poorly installed with the high E side nearly touching the strings. Had to pay for a complete setup but even that didn’t fix all the problem. It won’t stay tuned for longer that 30 minutes. I can’t seem to get the full output, it’s way quieter than my Les Paul.     • Needed lots of love
Definitely gonna have to adjust the trust rod, action, bridge, pick ups. Spent a few hours tweeking everything to get rid of high action and fret buzz. Color is amazing in person. Hardware not too shabby. Haven’t plugged it in just yet. Had to adjust all my other guitars since this one had me in the fix it zone. Only downside would be the whammy bar. Pretty damn loose. But putting a spring in the hole should fix this issue. ... show more
