The JV Modified Series combines classic aesthetics with modern playability to suit the needs of today’s guitarist. Taking cues from the now highly sought- after “Japanese Vintage” reissues from the early ‘80s, JV Modified guitars are a refined take on a modern classic. The ’60s Stratocaster has a resonant basswood body and is loaded with a set of three touch-sensitive vintage-style single-coil pickups for unmistakable Fender tone. A push-pull pot on Tone 2 adds the neck pickup for even more tonal possibilities. • Might need a little setup very simple.
I really like the way the neck feels and it sounds amazing. I've been playing stratocasters for many years now. I'm loving this one.. ps. I did have a small dent on the bottom

  • Love this strat
Push pull pot really brings a whole other layer of tone out of this guitar. The v in neck is quite shallow and the neck was great from the factory. I have a Japanese tele from the early 80’s so the bar was set high for me however this Strat has become on of my favorite axes

  • WOW!!!!!
Wow! right out of the box. Fit, finish, setup, tone, playability all excellent. The color is closer to cream than white. The locking tuners require a screwdriver to un lock. Aso the push pull tone switch is tight and might be a problem with sweaty hands. Not disappointed. THRILLED. 5 🌟

  • Not just great looks
The "tri-fecta' here - great handling, versatile sounding, AND great looking 'axe.' Coincidentally, the same color as Hendix used at WoodStock, NY in 1969. No better a guitar exists.

  • This thing is immaculate.
These new Fender guitars being made in the FujiGen factory are second to none. I recently purchased two different American Fender Stratocasters, and returned both due to serious quality control issues. This guitar is perfect in every way. The frets, the finish, the weight, the tones...all simply amazing. I wanted an American Fender more than anything, but receiving two that were far less than perfect left a bad taste in my mouth. Save an extra $100-400 and get this instead of an American Performer or American Professional II. The neck tint and soft V profile alone make it a cut above either of those options. This guitar is truly a masterpiece. ... show more
