Description
Set of six locking tuners designed to fit most modern-style Fender electric guitars with dual-pin mounting configuration. Tall post tuners are used for the wound strings and shorter post tuners are used for the plain strings. Staggered tuners increase the break angle over the nut and improve tuning stability. Used on many modern Fender electric guitars including: American Ultra, Elite, Deluxe as well as the Player Plus series.

Once you go lock, you never go bock

I swapped these with the stock tuners on my strat. I found that the strings stay in tune longer than no matter what string tieing method I used. The installation was simple. You just remove the washer on the old head falls out. Attaching the new tuner is super easy with no instructions needed as it is very obvious what you need to do. Restringing the guitar was super fast and less hassle than unlocking tuners. The gear ratio allows for fine adjustments for your tuning, and the gears are very smooth. Every Fender guitar I get going forward, the first thing I will do is swap the tuners.

Good looking, easy to install and work well. Prevents string slipping and stretching around the tuning peg so it holds tune better. Also easier to string guitar. This is very good way to upgrade your guitar. Thumbs up

Direct replacement for my 1999 Made in Mexico Fender Stratocaster; no drilling required. The staggered tuners improved tuning stability on the 3rd string, though I would personally recommend keeping the string tree on the 1st and 2nd strings as the string break angle without it is not ideal. Great tuning stability overall and makes changing strings substantially easier.

Worked on my Mexican Strat and Mexican Telecaster

These were very easy to install. I had to go online and watch a video about installation because they have two heights and it's important to install them in the correct placement. Tall in front, short in back -- but double check me on that. My only complaint is the "F" on the backs became unglued on a couple of the heads and fell off (they were loose in the packages before I opened them). Not a huge deal, but I had to glue them back on.

These were a standard feature on the Fender Strat deluxe models. When I traded mine in later for a custom shop model, the locking tuners were very much missed. A couple years later I saw these online and thought I'd have some installed on my lefty mex strat and am glad I did. Takes the tedium out of changing strings which I have hated for years to do. The addition of these tuners do slightly add weight to the neck, but it's not detrimental to my playing by any means just from past experience with the strat deluxe model I had owned. My friend had installed his and said installing them wasnt an issue. But I let my guitar tech in Green Bay install mine.

Fit perfectly on a 2000s MIM Strat

Didn’t need to do any drilling for my MIM Strat. Install took minutes, and I do not consider myself handy, let alone experienced with doing any handiwork on my guitar other than string changing. They look great, and it was a worthwhile upgrade.
