Bought a size 5.5 ( fit me true to size) in the brown color to wear on a two-week safari in East Africa. (Wanted a brown, khaki or olive color since black and blue are colors that attract the biting tsetse flies.) Needed comfortable, breathable closed-toe shoes but didn’t need any heavier type of “hiking” shoes. Most of our time was spent riding on bumpy roads inside Landcruisers or walking short distances around well-maintained tent camps. These shoes were perfect, especially when I needed to slip them on and off through-out each day in order to stand on the vehicle seats( so I could be high enough into the pop-up roof areas to see and film during the many game drives.) So we’re home now, and they still look good even though I’m sure they’re pretty dusty. Unfortunately, I don’t see any info on Amazon as to whether or not these great shoes are machine-washable. They look like they would be, but I probably just soap them up a bit and run them under the faucet for a soak-free rinse.

Based on the number of people saying these run true to size or even large.. I ordered a size 10. Here's what I know as a woman who's been buying shoes for 45 years. Sizing varies tremendously between companies. Sizing also changes with fashion trends. There was a time all shoes were being made small. Take skinny jeans, for the last 10 years, its the only choice you have. Now, suddenly, I see loose baggy jeans and simultaneously, shoes are at least a size larger. There are companies, like, "Skechers" whose shoes run so small I can't wear them. I have never been able to wear a Skechers size 10 ,theyre consistently way too short. I was in Walmart today I bought Time and Tru sandals I had to buy them in a size 9 because they fit like a 10. The 10s fit like 11. If you're an avid shoe shopper like I am you should know exactly what I'm talking about. These shoes arrive today I love the color I love the look. They're not high quality expensive shoes, so as long as you're okay with a cheaper feeling tennis shoe.these are similar. As for the sizing of these.. they're like Skechers. So if you think Skechers run true to size then buy these in the same size you would buy Skechers.

Great shoe for comfort, lightweight and durability. They flex with your step, and are easy to clean. Adjustable laces for width, but I just slip them on and go! I've gotten so many compliments on the vibrant red color. They are true to size and color in picture. The only thing is, I had to add a insole for extra cushion. Because even though they are very comfortable, they're not very supportive to the soles of the feet.

It does say slip on, but shows laces, thought it was a lace up shoe that I could expand to get on. Had broken my foot recently, cast removed, was healing. Could not even wear for weeks. Now I can get it on my foot. The heel is too high for either foot, previously broken or not…but a pretty nice looking shoe. Royal blue, not close to navy.

I’m honestly surprised on how nice these shoes are. I bought these for work, I’m on my feet for 8 1/2 hrs a day and these are actually comfortable. My first day wearing them I figured by the end of my shift my foot would hurt from them being new shoes, they didn’t. I absolutely love the fact that I can slip these on and not have to tie them everyday. I don’t feel like the shoe laces do very much and they’re kinda long so I tuck them inside my shoe. I’d absolutely buy these again.

Someone didn't check the box: I ordered size 9 black sneakers. Saw right away the difference in size between the left shoe and the right shoe. Not sure how that happened as there were also labels stating size (European) inside each shoe: one shoe says 40 and fits, the other one says 41 and is too large. But the one that fits seems light and nice and I would reorder, hoping that time they would send a pair of same size. It's a hassle, as the only drop off store is about 40 minutes from us.
