I had a pair of expensive Skechers slip ons that I use when I walk my dogs. I only had them for about a year or so when the sole began separating. I tried to hot glue gun it, but that didn't work. A local shoe repairman would not touch them. I was going to buy another pair of Skechers and shell out not less than 60.00 or more, but then I thought I would see what I could find on Amazon. These shoes were one-third the price, the slip on easily, and they are comfortable. There's nothing fancy about them, mind you, but they are perfect for what I needed.

They fit. I put them on as soon as they arrived to set out for a walk on hilly streets of my neighborhood. They are indeed "slip-ons" as there is no tongue and the laces serve no purposes other than ornamental. That didn't/doesn't matter to me in and of itself. The design, however, means that there is little or no give to the opening into which you "slip" your foot. Normal "slip-ons" accommodate this by putting elastic between the uppers of the shoe and faux tongue, allowing more room when putting on the shoe, or by not coming up over the instep (a-la loafers). I had to struggle to get these shoes on to my feet. (A shoehorn will probably help immensely.) I completed my intense 1.3 mile walk with no chafing or uncomfortable pressure points. I am satisfied, and because I have a shoehorn by my bedeside, that issue should be addressed.

These are without a doubt the best feeling shoes I've ever had on my feet. And I was so close to not giving these a chance. Being a creature of habit. Luckily they were on sale so I took a chance. The shoes are so lightweight and comfortable you actually don't want to take them off. And as advertised, they will slip on and off if not tied too tightly. Time will tell about longevity. But they feel well made and look well made. I would also add these shoes keep my feet cooler than my regular tennis shoes. They provide a good steady platform for walking. I haven't ran in them. It's too hot here for that, and I'm too old. But I'm sure they'd do well. I love them and wish my dad had lived long enough to try a pair of these. I recommend anyone in need look no further. Pick a color and give them a try. 5+

Remember these are $35 sneakers. They look good, but the quality isn't great. When you walk, the front area of the feet feel like they are on the ground, very little support. But what makes me sad is that these are NOT slip ons, or whatever term you want to use! You cannot put them on without assistance. Very aggravating as you struggle ...in my opinion, just a step above slippers.
