Love these. All shepherd's hooks should have a five stake base instead of the two stakes you see everywhere. Makes it easy to use if you have a bit of an incline. Very sturdy...it has stood up to lots of wind (80 MPH). Would like to see a model with wider hooks, so that a platform feeder would fit.

I purchase back in February in hopes to use them in the spring. I’ve put them both up and enjoyed how heavy duty they are. I’ve got a 6 foot wind chime on one of them and it handles it with ease!!!! The tines are long and they go deep into the Earth. Very stable and very easy to put together from the Hardware that is supplied. Having three sides to this Shepard hook, you can put quite a bit of weight. Easily using three hanging baskets.

The height listed is to the bottom of the prongs NOT what will be above ground and the hooks themselves are not wide enough. Bigger items like feeder weather guards don’t fit because they hit the pole.
