The blue set seems a bit finer fabric weave compared to the first purple-flowered single fitted I bought from this seller when my puppy ripped holes in the bottom sheet of my fave lilac sheet set. I LOVE this set of sheets. They are cotton percale, breathable and comfy. First few uses / washes they will be a little stiff, even noisy, but they become softer with time. I would buy these again. The fitted sheet goes on easily on my 14” hight mattress, does not slip off.

I waited to do a review until I've had them for a while, so I could see how well the wash/wear held up. I have been dealing with hot flashes, and after some research about using 100% cotton percale sheets, I decided to try these after reading several good reviews. These have gone through the wash a few times now and have kept their cool crispness. These are only 300 thread count (TC) but feel nice and thick. I have 1000 TC hotel sheets, which are great for winter because they hold in the heat. These being 300 TC breathe and let my skin naturally cool. I haven't had any serious hot flashes since I've been using them. I HIGHLY recommend them for that reason alone! The price point is reason 2! These are affordable yet feel like quality, #3! Get em!

I am honestly surprised at how much I like these sheets. They're all cotton and feel like the old, crisp percale style sheets. Color/pattern is printed not woven which accounts for the lower price point. The fitted sheet fits my thick king mattress perfectly and has sewn in labels so you you aren't flipping it around trying to find the top - a really nice feature. I would definitely buy again

This is an “as soon as I opened it” review, a first impression if you will, and will do a follow up with my final feelings after washing and sleeping on them. I need to preface this with, I am someone who is old enough to say I “know” what true 100% cotton percale should feel and sleep like. To start, the second I ran my hand across the fabric before removing it from its package, it did not feel like 100% cotton percale finish. I’m not saying it isn’t, just saying it was far too slick, and soft resembling a sateen finish. I don’t believe it has the sheen but the tight long thread feel was there. I absolutely hate sateen sheets, so to be fair it’s the first thing I look for and feel for when in Second is the elastic. It is true there is elastic going around the entire sheet, but it’s extremely thin, light weight elastic, not substantive or strong like high end sheets. Most reviewers claim they find it to be strong elastic. I suppose it’s relative if you’ve had good strong (wide) elastic, say on the level of what the original Nest Well sheets have to compare with, you will know immediately this elastic is sub par with most sheets of a higher quality. These are 300 thread count sheets, which are half again thicker than the typical percale that’s in today’s market at 180. You can say they are heavier than most, but to me mid Quality sheets should be at least 400 thread count. I am washing them in cold water as the directions have said and using a very gentle detergent so that I can give them a try. Despite all the negative I have said, I do think the print is pretty on the sheets. They do have the beloved envelope closure on the pillowcases that you don’t see anymore as with days gone by. I’m hoping that I’m wrong and that these sheets are cool, do not shrink and fit my thick mattress. The set I received are anything but a crisp percale, but there is a lot of contradictory impressions on that throughout the reviews. Since I haven’t tried them on my mattress yet I can’t talk about the fit, but I have seen in some reviews claim anything beyond 12 inches will not fit these sheets even though they advertise to fit up to 16 inch. I will do a follow up to this review of my final decision…. if I can figure out how to do that, (lol) I’ve never gone back and edited an Amazon review so we will see. I hope this wasn’t too long and was helpful to some degree. Quick update************I have to eat a little Crow now since having washed the sheets. I can say that these do feel more like a percale after being wandered, but with one caveat, they are not crunchy, more on the softer side, which is nice because it takes that sharpness or edge off of the fabric. I predict these will probably soften up really nicely overtime. I also tried them on my 14 inch mattress. I didn’t have any issues running out of fabric on the corners, but I will say the long sides were a little skimpy. In other words there there wasn’t fabric left to tuck under your mattress. If that’s not an issue for you then these will probably work great. The top sheet had enough fabric to evenly drop off sides to meet the top of my bed frame. The final thing is the elastic. I can’t say that I have changed my mind on the elastic being a little limp and thin, but for the cost, the sheets will probably be perfect fine for 90% of the people. I haven’t slept on them so I can’t attest to whether they are cool yet. That’s an important factor for me and will come back with those findings later, but of course anything to do with coolness is all relative to the person, right?

Best sheets ever if you are a hot sleeper. They are cool and crisp. Yes they are wrinkled after taking out of the dryer but I make my bed every day so neither I or anyone else sees that. I want sheets that remind me of the sheets that I was raised with. That feel lined dried and are cool and crisp. Love love these sheets. Great bargain. Beats Targets sheets by a 1000 miles
