  • This was perfect 👌
Color: Light Gray
I was having a hard time looking for a cat tree that was simple and tall enough for my space and this was perfect. My space is about 110" tall and this still had a few inches to go which was good. My kitten is still a little nervous to go the the top but she does like it. Each shelf is adjustable in direction, and honestly, you can rearrange the post to which ever order you want. I wish I knew that. You just have to keep the top one for the top because it's a special screw and different size from the rest. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble with 2 people
Color: Light Gray
Pretty easy to assemble with 2 people. The particle board is what keeps the unit upright along with pressure from the ceiling. Personally, I added some anchoring to the ceiling to keep it from tipping over and potentially damaging the board at the bottom as my cat is pretty active when she "goes to town" on tearing up (or into) her new toys. That was a sound decision when I walked in and saw her partially dangling from it and clawing her way up. Its a good size and works for my home in the flat roof areas, it didn't work too well in the slanted areas and would need a wedge for stability. ... show more

  • Cats love it, but the engineer needs a new job.
Color: Light Gray
If I didn't assemble this cat tree I would love it, but I did assemble it so I don't. All the pieces very tediously screw together with two way bolts that make screwing in the posts way too aggravating. The thread pitch is way too low, my arms got tired and I had to take a break many times during the build and I'm an active and fit person, I should be able to spin a pole a few times. It takes like 50 turns for each piece to go in and even after that nothing is stopping one side from unthreading while the other is threading. The base of the tower is a box (that none of my cats use) and they put the support legs on the corners of it .. then put the tower pole in the middle of a particle board plate. It's asking to break with just a little bit more than the necessary force. The tower stays in place by applying pressure at the top of the pole against the roof, which puts all of the force on the center of that particle board. Installation was a very long and tedious process for how simple it is to put together. To top it off, literally, they failed horrendously at making an effective solution to putting pressure on the roof. It's like the designer got a vague idea of how screws work and then made this monstrosity. The top pole that the roof contact part bolts into has threads inside the pole and two hand twist nuts on the bolt. You have to thread the top contacter down into the top pole until it's just short enough to slide the pole to a 90° angle then retighten that entire portion while the foam pad is giving you friction on the roof making twisting hard and you're reaching above your head the entire time. Fire that engineer. All that has to be done for that to be functional is REMOVE THE THREADS IN THE TOP POLE PIECE!!! You could use the hand nuts to extend the bolt/contactor without turning the contactor itself, and it would be way way faster and easier. It's so obvious I want to fist fight the designer. Who taught them how threads work?? For the price I could almost justify it but the 5 times I had to sit down so I didn't black out while installing this thing makes me think otherwise. I'd spend more on a different tree if it means they hire an engineer with common sense. ... show more

  • Cat loves it!
Color: Light Gray
My cat is getting older and is less interested in toys and new things nowadays. But once I set this up, she climbed right up and started playing with it. I love the different layers, gives it some variety!

  • A nice looking tree but very disappointed by its ability to hold
Color: Light Gray
I didn’t mind assembling the cat tree. It’s really nice and durable. Securing it to the ceiling was a tedious process, but I thought for sure it would hold firm with all the screws and tightening I did. However, I came home one day to find it had fallen over. I tightened it even more afterward, but my cat seemed hesitant to use it again. So, I was relieved when he finally got back on it. Unfortunately, after he sat on one of the ledges, I noticed the tree starting to slip slightly. I managed to catch it before it fell again, but I’m really disappointed. I had a cheaper tree for a while and wanted to upgrade. Even though that one was a bit wobblier, it never slipped, and it had an option to secure it to the wall—though I never needed to use it. This tree doesn’t offer that option. ... show more

  • Works With Our Ten Foot Ceilings
Color: Light Gray
EDIT: I'm editing my original review to say that I still love that the different pieces that come with this tree, and that it can accommodate our ten foot ceilings, but unfortunately, our two seven month old kittens have managed to knock it over twice. Neither time where I could see it, of course! I just hear a crash and come into the room and find it angled across the room. My husband attached straps to two different parts of the tree's pole then screwed the straps into the window panes. This should prevent the tree from falling over in the future, and I would have loved it if the tree included some type of extra mounting to begin with. Original Review: We live in a historic house with ten foot ceilings and it's been difficult to make a floor-to-ceiling cat tree work in our space. Prior to this tree, we created a taller one by using the pieces of two different floor-to-ceiling trees. And while it allowed us to get the height we wanted, the unit was always wobbly. But this tree have solved the problem! It has a strong base reinforced with four different poles you screw in (inside the cat house at the bottom). But it doesn't just stop there. There are four balls that can be attached if you like, a sort of "pocket" shelf for nestling, and a shelf with an extended edge that also has a rim around allowing your cat to sleep without spilling over the side. (We needed this for our calico!) And two of the center pole segments are sisal which is great for scratching, or using to climb to great heights. Aesthetically, this is one of the better cat trees out there, and I found it easy to fit it in with the rest of our decor. It's tall, but not wide, and doesn't have any of the bulkier pieces that take up a lot of horizontal space like other trees we've tried. The gray is an added bonus as it doesn't show dirt. ... show more
