I adopted a 10 week, 2.3 lb. puppy a week ago. Of course, the little guy is into absolutely everything and is chewing everything as well, including me. My job allows very flexible work options, so I've been home for the last week, starting training, etc. I am not one to stay home all the time and needed to get out and into the office for several hours at a time. Loki will maybe get to 10 lbs. fully grown and I wanted him to have his own "residence" within mine. The result was the "crate" in the pic. I went to the office today and was gone for almost four hours. This is what was in there with him: small food and water bowls, beach towel for cushioning, two pee pads and all his toys, with room to spare. I came home, anxious to see how he did on his own for so long, and he was thrilled to see me. He'd finished eating his food and, hopefully, played with toys and relaxed. I did not hear crying, barking or whimpering noises in the hallway upon my return, so I was very relieved. You do not need tools to put this together. It came out of the box flat with all the plastic needed to put this baby up. Took me about 45 minutes. Watch for the two plastic rods with the extension part that allows you to put the last two rods in, as by that time, you are hard pressed to get them in the connectors. It's a trial and error thing but you'll figure it out fast, like I did. I highly recommend this "crate" for your little one!

I got this for my chihuahua so he could have a safe space to be when he’s home alone. It is a little small even though he’s only 7lbs. All we can fit inside it is his dog bed but we never zip up the door so size doesn’t matter that much for us but maybe consider what you want to put inside it before purchasing. It was a little difficult to put together but overall it’s a nice structure.

No chemical smell that was present in other playpens I've ordered. Seems to be well made. No missing parts. Everything went together fairly easily - pay attention to where the two telescoping supports go. Perfect for my foster rescue kittens. Not really conducive to traveling because assembly and disassembly takes quite a bit more time than popup pens. I like that it is sturdy enough not to cave in if my adult cats jump on the top of it. Very reasonably priced.

We have a mini poodle who has defeated all playpens she has met until this one. Let me he upfront with you, its a PAIN to out together. The frame is pretty crazy on this thing. Just remember the spring loaded bars go where the velcro flaps are and those go in last. Ok so Houdini got in it and immediately tried the tricks that got her out of her last playpen, pushing on the zippers and they held up great. She did figure out how to get her teeth on the window netting and Id say its a matter of time before she rips a hole in one but so far, it has held up to her abuse. I like the velcro on the door flap to keep it out of her sights when she is coming and going. Great product, real pain to assemble 4/5 stars!

This playpen is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The other prime eligible playpens are flimsy and collapsible not ideal for energetic animals. The fabric is thick and tough. It does take a while to assemble but it is worth it for the quality. We will be taking a road trip and this is a perfect enclosure for the hotel while we are out. Purchased for our foster kittens, tested by our resident cat pictured :)
