I love this unit because I have to go to another apartment unit to do laundry and therefore avoid it as much as possible. I dry all my clothes indoors. So I'm left with lots of items each time with a smaller model I own which never holds enough. I've had plastic racks through the years which eventually broke. My older smaller one is stainless steel which I've had for a long time though one or two clips came off. This happens with all of them. But this huge one has so many clips that losing one or two will be fine. Storage could be a problem. This product is great for the money. This drying rack saves space and you could hang a lot of clothes and it would hold up and not just become tilted because of wet clothes. No matter what you are drying, most of the everyday items like socks, t-shirts, shorts, or some sort of clothing it does the job well and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high-quality drying rack for your clothes. Its size is not a big issue and it does not take too much space like if you were to compare it to using a single hanger for each piece of clothing. What I like about this so much is how easy you can just clip the clothes on and it will hold it securely and you won't need to worry about it falling out of the clip. This is a lot bigger than I imagined it would be--which is great! There's a lot of space between clips, and between rows of clips, which gives your drying items more space to dry. That the whole contraption is made of metal means it's going to remain sturdy and intact for a long time to come. I've used plastic drying racks before, and found that over time the plastic clips wear out and break. Another bonus is that this rack came with a TON of additional clips. Love this so many clips. Can hang all my undies bras mittens gloves socks scarfs everything. It can be used in bathroom on the shower rod when it is snowing in the winter can also hook to clothes line so I can use the lines for sheets towels and the line is not taken up with "little"things. Seems sturdy and well designed, with plenty of extra metal parts. I bought this to use less natural gas, saving the dryer for big stuff like sheets. I already hang shirts and pants on hangars indoors to dry. I bought the drying rack for the smaller stuff like underpants and socks. I tried hanging the rack indoors on a hook attached to a shelf pole, and that works (see photos). It also worked on a hook inside a walk-in closet (see photo). Drying was even faster when I moved the whole rack with clothes outdoors and hung it on a rail when a warm wind was blowing (see photos).
