I was hoping for a nice looking, quality piece that would support our bedroom TV and have space for books and other things. Also, very important to me, was the ease in putting it together. I was really happily impressed with everything!! It looks great and my husband and I put it together in less than an hour... could be done in 30 minutes or less if familiar with assembling things and didn't have a pet jumping in and out of it! The instructions are extremely easy to follow. Main thing is to read everything before each step and do exactly what they ask. It was the best set of directions I've ever had to follow, and I've put a lot of items together, some very complicated. The packaging was great and easy to identify, plus there aren't really a lot of pieces to assemble. The quality is very good. I do have it on carpet vs hard flooring which may make it a bit less stable as the TV on top is probably larger than intended, but don't think there will be an issue. If so, it would not be the manufacturer's fault. It also has items on the bottom of unit to stabilize it in case of uneven flooring. It is exactly what is advertised, and I couldn't be more relieved and happier to have it!! Highly Recommend if you like the description of product as stated on Amazon website!! This furniture piece is a pleasant surprise. I never have high hopes for Amazon furniture buys, but this piece is nice! The material is good quality, its really sturdy, assembly was a breeze, and it looks great. I put this together by myself in about 15 minutes, thanks to the THOROUGH, well thought out, and helpful instructions. Reading the instructions made me feel like the seller actually cares about the quality of their product (a rare find these days). I am now searching for matching pieces from this seller. It's always so hard to know the quality of furniture you will get from an Amazon buy, and I've been disappointed in nearly every piece from other sellers. This is a good find. Fit my stereo components perfectly. Back was easy to cut with razor knife for cable routing and fan install. Extremely stable and zero “shelf sag” … tube amp in the lower center weighs about 40lb. Fantastic buy!
