I bought this toy for my 8 month old. He's a little young for it mainly because he just gets excited and knocks it down. All the pieces roll away and he can't gather them back up again. It is a great toy for him to play with with his siblings. They are 11, 9 and 2. They build with them, gather them and build them again while he squeals in delight.     • These are a lot of fun for various ages.
I bought these for my nephew (10 months old at the time) and he seems to enjoy them. He likes the bright colors and I'm assuming the texture since they are the go to chew for him. He is a few months older now, and they seem to be functional for an entire new type of play. It's a toy that he will get a lot of play with as he hits different milestones of abilities over the next few years. Heck, I even enjoyed messing around with them and stacking in various size patterns and I'm 34 y/o! These will be my go to toddler toy from now on. ... show more

My 2 yr old enjoys playing with these stackers. They are made from plastic but have a soft feel on the outside. I find these enjoyable to stack as well. These are nicely sized to ensure a nice grip for small hands.

My almost 2 year old son and 9 year old stepdaughter find new ways to play with these every day. The spools were made of a harder material than I was expecting. I was thinking it would’ve the bendable silicone that our other fatbrain toys are made of but it’s a hard plastic. I wish it was packaged in a reusable way to contain them and keep them together. This is such a fun stacking toy! My baby is really getting into all sorts of stacking toys, like the nesting cups, blocks and stacking rings. This adds some diversity to her toy collection and keeps her engaged.

I have a 24 yr old curious Special Needs Child; his first reaction was to figure out how to hold them, once he was able to put his fingers/finger through the holes (some are larger than others) he had a field day clanking them together. Fat Brain toys makes good toys for Special Needs Children, at least I believe it does. : ) ... show more
