I teach a craft class for the seniors in my 55+ community. After a major fail last week when we tried using a microwave to melt the Melt and Pour soap base that we were using to make homemade soap, I decided to invest in this appliance and try again. I received the appliance yesterday and tried it this morning to hopefully avoid another disappointment during this week's craft class. Well I am happy to report that I was beyond pleased with the outcome because this Fast Melt appliance not just met but it exceeded my expectations. It was easy to use, it only took 5-6 minutes to melt a pound of shea butter soap base into a milky consistency perfect for pouring, and afterwards it was a breeze to clean (following the instructions provided). Do I recommend it? MOST HEARTILY!!!

This soap base melter is a time saver! I used to melt soap in the microwave batch by batch. I can throw big chunks into this melter and in less than 15 minutes it's all liquid. I can get two or three batches out of one melting. Very easy cleanup too.

This is terrible. I dont know what others reviewd but it wasn't this. It only heats the bottom the sides do not get hot at all what takes me 20 minutes took over 4 hours using this thing even then I had to take out the unmeltedelt n pour soap and microwave it like normal to finish the process. For one while it is marketed as a soap melter the instructions clearly call it a wax melter. I would not waste your money on this at all. Go buy something cheaper this is not worth the $100 they are charging for it. Not to mention the begging for you to give a 5 star review for bonus stuff in the box. Really the reviews aren't to be trusted as they offer to pay for a good review.

Initial Review- I just received my package today and it appears to have been used it’s dented and scratched all over. The inside is clearly dirty. I haven’t attempted to make any soap yet, I’m not sure if I should First I must add that the company did everything they possible could to replace the product. I felt so awful because one of the packages went missing, as I couldn't track any longer. The shipper had to replace with a third product that came in beautifully packaged and protected. There were no defects on the second one I received. It was so much work and so difficult on the companies part that I felt so awful for my review but I am very grateful to have received the product in wonderful shape. The soap melts easily an the temperature remains consistent. Everything was easy to clean and just beautiful. My soap smells wonderful! Thank you for your wonderful customer service and I apologize for all the inconveniences.

I like how easy it is to keep your soap at steady temps and also easy to clean. The downfall is you need to figure out how to hold the container you are putting into while trying to open the valve, the whole container loaded with soap isn’t heavy enough to stay in place during dispensing.
