I had a really good time playing this. The performance could use some optimization, but it's not an action game, so it doesn't really affect gameplay. Most of my time was spent interacting with others and designing outfits that match their look and style. If you're the type to spend an hour in a create-a-character screen, you might enjoy this. I'm a guy, and probably not in the assumed demographic for this game, but I like putting together attractive outfits for these characters. There's nothing weird or lewd, it's just cute outfits. I can easily recommend this for any age, andz/or budding fashionistas. It's a cute, fun time for anyone interested in fashion, or just viewing fashion on others.

Great fashion game!

As someone who played 2 of the older Style Savvy games on 3ds I really love this game, actually even more than the older ones. You walk around and make outfits for real players and can design your own clothes and shop. You can request, make and receive outfits from other players and change your hair and makeup. They have some events where you do daily quests for rewards. I have 60 hours in the game since release, I play it casually but it fits my needs for making cute outfits. It is kinda grindy to unlock new patterns but it gives something to work for and it’s fun walking around and seeing other players and making outfits for them. They are adding fashion shows and I do hope they add a salon/makeup studio like the old games. There’s no story either, it’s more of just a fashion designer/social media game.

Addicting gameplay if you know what you're getting into

I went into this game knowing the reviews weren't the best. But I also went into it knowing what to expect. If your favorite part of the Sims is dressing up your Sims and picking different color options for the clothes provided, this game is for you. There isn't a storyline and it's more about grinding and leveling up, but I very much enjoy that. You go through the game designing outfits for NPCs and other players based on prompts, collecting clothing items, and designing your own clothing to setup in your own showcase space. Contrary to what some other reviewers are saying, there are different areas to explore and MANY different characters to design clothes for when you actually play the game for longer than a few hours. Online mode also connects you with players around the world to see their designs and dress up their characters too. This is honestly the best way to play since you'll see hundreds of different clothing options. You also get the game currency faster by interacting with people online. I HIGHLY recommend reading the tips since that explains the gameplay better than just trying to poke around the game. There are some quality of life things I think the developers could improve with some updates, but overall I'm enjoying the game a lot.

Fashion Dreamer is a wonderful little social fashion game. It's very cute, and is really one of a kind when it comes to dress up games. It's made by the company behind the style savvy series, and imo doesn't disappoint. A few nitpicks such as the short length of the game, and fewer items than I'd like. But the online connectivity really makes this game a joy as you can design and receive outfits from other real people. There's also an offline mode but it's ultimately not the intended experience here. The game is also receiving updates for more content. 100% recommend.

The grinding in this game is doing the same thing over and over. Which gets real repetitive and boring quick. The range of fashion is pretty good but you can't mix patterns into different clothing. Which I thought was odd and a really missed opportunity. The most you can do when creating the clothing is changing the colors. Definitely not a game a would recommend to everyone. There are better games out there. The only reason I am giving it a three is cause my daughter is enjoying the simplicity of it. But they could do so much better.

It's really addictive, when you first start out! I already made my avatar look like me obviously. And you could send 'Lookit' requests so other players that can make you a outfit! Also the show rooms of other players are super cool and cute! Like I already started out making my brand logo and decorating with what I could. To me personally it's really fun! Enjoy it, if you're thinking of getting it! No matter what other people think. :) but it is what it is, it doesn't have story mode unfortunately, but hopefully when the update comes...it won't be as boring..ya know! 🖤
