okay to be honest I ordered this last night around 7 pm, i got free shipping and was expecting it Sunday. to my Suprise and delight it came around 11:30 am this morning. love the fact that it came that fast. packaging was nice. kind of like when you get a new phone. it also came almost fully charged which is nice, however I still charged it to fully charged. The compressor does exactly what you want it to do and I found it super easy to control. The brush definitely could be improved but it’s really not that bad for the price as a starter. The compressor comes with adapters so upgrading the brush won’t be a problem. Overall, I’m happy

If I am being 100% honest the air pump could use a bit more power, the paint cups are awesome! the larger one i have not used yet, but I have not had to paint anything nearly large enough to need that much paint, I assemble and paint model cars and trucks, and this is PERFECT for my needs, the hand unit is comfortable and not plastic, which makes it much much easier to clean. I would recommend this for beginners or anyone really needs a portable airbrush. Pump lasts for hours and recharges easily and quickly. ... show more

I bought this airbrush kit a few months ago to use for painting model kits, and to try using it for traditional painting as well. This was the first airbrush I've ever owned, but I've been looking into buying one for a while. This kit has just about everything you could need to get started, and the airbrush being a double-action (meaning, you are able to control both the airflow and the amount of paint released with the button on the airbrush), is also good for getting practice with. The best part about this kit is it's portability for me. I don't have a ton of space so this kit was perfect for my needs. The battery on low got me about 30-40 minutes in a session but it charges relatively fast which is nice. The compressor isn't silent, but it also isn't super loud either, if noise is a concern for you. For the applications I was using it for, I mainly stuck to using acrylic paints, thinned down with water or rubbing alcohol. Depending on what you are using it for, it is good to keep in mind how much to thin down the paint so it evenly covers whatever surface you paint on, but also so it doesn't clog the airbrush itself. A cleaning trick I learned is to fill one of the paint cups with water, and place either your finger, or ideally, a cloth over the nozzle of the airbrush (being gentle however so you do not damage the needle), and release air/water through the nozzle. This will cause the water to bubble up back into the chamber and serves as a quick way to clean the brush between colors. While cleaning it a few days ago however, I accidently broke the nozzle while screwing it back into place. The parts are very delicate so keep that in mind when you are handling the airbrush itself and cleaning it. This kit did not contain any replacement needles or nozzles, but it seems that replacements aren't too expensive here on Amazon. Just something to keep in mind. ... show more

Works great for spraying polyurethane bases, but it will struggle quite a bit with thicker paint, even with flow improver and thinner. Good for super thin paints with not a lot of pigment.

The media could not be loaded. Airbrush functions better than I could have ever hoped for. At its most basic it is great for priming models in the summertime where humidity can be an issue with rattle cans. With no experience using s tool like this before I was able to watch a few tutorials and easily achieve fantastic blends with this airbrush. The trickiest part is learning to properly thin each paint you choose to work with, but that will be tricky even with a much more expensive set up. My only regret is not purchasing one sooner. With proper care and cleaning I see myself getting many models primed and painted in no time at all. Great little airbrush! ... show more

It's a bit clunky, but for the price it's ok. The air compressor/battery attachment adds quite a bit of weight but you also don't need a separate air compressor which is good. There's definitely better airbrush kits but for the price this isn't bad. It works, and I don't use it super often. If you plan on airbrushing a lot, maybe look for a better one- but if it's something you only use occasionally this is a decent one for sure. ... show more
