My son loves this bottle, the handle is so cute and functional. He accidentally had it upside down in his bag and it leaked. I tried it out and the screw on cap didn't leak when it was just on its side but when you turn it fully upside down it drips out. Don't know if we have a defective one? The return window closed about two weeks ago or else I would return it.

I love these bottles. I have been using them for years. And when it came time for my kids to go to camp and need a water bottle, this was a no brainer. I bought two of them, one for each of my kids. The bottle comes with two drinking options, a straw lid and a spout lid. I am team spout and my kids are team straw. The bottles are awesome. They are rugged and keeps my kids drinks cold all day and into the next morning. My kids and I really like the bottle’s paracord handle. It makes the bottle really easy to carry. The bottles rubber bottom base cover gives it a non-slip area and also provides the bottle with some protection (it also buffers the clanking sound that you would normally hear from a metal bottle hitting a table). One last feature that I would like to highlight is that the bottle has a D-ring that allows it to be clipped to things like backpacks, belts and vest. I did have two issues with the bottle though. The first one is that the lid’s O-ring keeps falling out when I take the lid off. I am worried that I won’t see it fall out one day and loose it. The second issue is that somehow my son broke the cap on his spout lid. A piece of the cap’s plastic broke off. Thank goodness we were able to just use the straw lid and not miss a beat. Even with those issues, I still recommend this bottle. It comes in an assortment of bright colors, is very durable, and keeps my kids drinks cold for an extended period of time.

UPDATED Review: as my below review mentioned, both caps broke easily and immediately after receiving this water bottle. I bought one new one and the company offered a second replacement. It has now been a few more months and these secondary caps have not broken! Everything is still in great working order. I have changed from 3-stars to 5-stars. If I do have further issue with the caps I will update here again. I guess the original caps with order were just a defective anomaly? Original review: Upon receiving this water bottle I was quite impressed with its perfection and jealous of it being for my son and not for myself. It is good size, easy to clean, love the handle, and great looking! But within two weeks of use, both caps that came with it broke. We have lots of water bottles and none have had caps broken even with repetitive kid abuse. I will buy a replacement cap for $9, which seems stupid. But if it lasts I might come back and change my review. If it breaks too, the cost is not worth this bottle.

I bought a couple different sizes of this so my granddaughter would have a big one for really hot days and/or long trips and a smaller one for other days. It does keep the water cold, and the paracord handle and silicone boot are nice. But the plastic handle on the cap of one broke easily when the bottle was dropped and the silicone seal in the chug lid is constantly falling out -- with one already lost. Unfortunately, the straw lid and chug lid don't use the same seal (or maybe fortunate if you prefer the straw, as it seems to stay put better). So far, I've been unable to find a suitable replacement seal, so I purchased another brand of lid that the seal seams to stay in.
