I don't write many reviews but this one is worth it. I picked one of these up for my standing desk and my desktop. I have my desktop on another desk that doesn't raise or lower. I also picked up an anker usb hub with 4 usb ports. I have a RGB Keyboard, RGB mouse, Stream Deck, and an XLR preamp all running off this one cable. UPDATE: NOTE NOTE NOTE! DIRECTION OF PLUG CONNECTION MATTERS IN ACHIEVING 10GBps TRANSFERS. THIS SHOULD BE WRITTEN IN BRIGHT RED IN THE DESCRIPTION! Plug at the PC first, then plug in original cable and if it doesn't work, unplug and flip plug 180 degrees. My external SSK cased NVMe drives work fine now. Once the original cable is connected to this extension cable, then you can plug your devices either way at the ORIGINAL cable plug, it's just this extension cable has to be connected ONLY 1 WAY. It's not Bi-Directional, like a 3 prong extension power cord. SELLER, MAKE THOSE NOTES TO AVOID 1 STAR REVIEWS!!! Original issue: Wanted a 3 foot extension cable for my external NVMe drive and this is NOT it. Windows 11 recognized my drive but when i went to transfer a 2GB file for testing, the window said 'Calculating..' for few minutes. I knew right away something is wrong so I had to force shut down and unplug this cable. My SSK cased WD NVMe drive works at 900MB/s avg. rate on a short 8" cable. The direction up or down matters with this cable. I thought this cable had failed after less than two months but then I saw a review saying the direction matters. Works great for what I needed it for, to extend the USB C cable at the end of an Apple MagSafe puck to reach the outlet. I’ve seen some people having issues with this and after research I figured out the reason - MagSafe charging only truly works if you’re using a charging brick from Apple, it’ll be inconsistent and wonky with other brands. So if you’re using this to aid in wirelessly charging your iPhone, be sure to use Apple’s 20w charging block to plug it into the wall. ... show more
