This is a great book. I have one at work and at home. I wanted to purchase one for a colleague, and this book is not hardcover and does not include the cd with sample programs. Typically I wouldn’t mind, but I prefer text books to be hardcover. The book is 5 stars, the seller is 1 star for the misleading description. ... show more

This book is very useful. It is probably the second most referred to book on my shelf after the machinist handbook. It is very thorough which is great. The book won't show you how to machine parts but it will show you some of the functionality of the CNC controller that you may not know exists and might find useful. ... show more

THIS BOOK DOES NOT COME WITH A CD. You can't resolve the issue as you can only return the item for a refund or exchange. I doubt an exchange would include the CD as it did not come with another book by the same author and same way of purchase. My comments have been moderated. Gives a clear explanation of the many ways to use the various functions of Macro B. Good examples of how macros can be used to simplify the CNC programming process. Would recommend this book to anyone who wants to take their programming skills to the next level.

    • Great book, but the kindle version is unreadable.
Text of kindle version has most of the longer words split into syllables with spaces making it nearly unreadable. Tried it on multiple devices to no avail. Returned for credit. If you do get this book, don’t let it sit without checking the print. I’d imagine a refund needs to be prompt.
