This “laundry basket” is tiny. I admit I didn’t read the dimensions carefully but assumes it’s the same price as the barrel it will be comparable in size. This is a small to medium canvas tote type basket and not in any way capable of holding a load of laundry. overall great. originally i bought it thinking it would be great for when my baby gets here for a small laundry basket. but i realized it will hold maybe 1 small load but that okay so i ordered the big matching one for that and am using this one to hold her wash clothes and towels. the issue was NOT the sellers fault it was mine for thinking i could use a smaller laundry basket. it would also be great for books or storage under a changing table! right away it isnt straight but if you fill it up with stuff for a couple days it will be sturdy all on its own. ... show more

It will work for what I need. I love the design & handles. I am not disappointed. It’s just that I was expecting it to be more firm. I put a piece of cardboard in the bottom for support. I bought this tote to use as a book bin. It works great for that purpose but the bottom of it is not sturdy or hard enough to support the weight of the books if you pick it up. It's fine just sitting on the floor though. I wish it came with an insert for the bottom of it. It has the metal around the top of it which helps it keep its shape and stay open. I purchased these to store my extra makeup away and it’s perfect. The material of the basket is not very thick, but it works for what I intended it for. Pattern is nice and the handles are a brown “leather” type. I ordered one and loved it, so ordered one more. The 2nd one does not stand up straight like the 1st one does. Like the wires are bent . Good value. And cute, not worth the effort to send back for a new one. No way to contact seller that I can see .
