The face is beautiful and the doll is very nice. But I chose this doll for the face and brown hair for my granddaughter to play with. Very disappointed that it had no hair and I didn't see any mention of them changing the doll.

I ordered this Reborn baby for my niece’s 5th bday and she LOVES it! Her little sister is jealous of her “real” baby so it looks like I will have to get another one as a Christmas present. I was surprised at how well crafted and realistic the baby doll looks. I’m sure she will love this baby for many years to come and hopefully it will bring her joy.     • Not as I expected
I thought the words “reborn” and “lifelike” meant the doll felt soft and realistic. It is not. It’s a very pretty doll, but not at all soft and cuddly. The head, arms and legs are the typical hard vinyl (?) found in most dolls. The cloth body is very stiff. Doll cannot be sat up. I bought the smaller 18 inch because it was meant for a 2 year old. It is too late to reorder a different doll before Christmas, and living in a rural area, very hard to find an actual store to purchase one. I haven’t decided if I plan to keep it, or return it based on the cost. I could just replace it for much less. I really wanted a soft baby, but I guess I need to do some research on the words used to describe them. They are very misleading. ... show more

Always been obsessed with babies but I am done with the two grown boys that I have! This doll feels and looks so real it exceeded my expectations. Its body is so soft and the face and hand features are so detailed and realistic. It came with a pacifier and a diaper and cute clothes but I intend on going shopping for more little outfits. Considering the amount of precision that went into this doll and how realistic and soft it feels, this makes a great gift for a little girl or for nursing homes to keep them occupied and feel like they are caring for someone. I got the Emma doll for my daughter, and it looks fantastic! Exactly like the picture, but so much more impressive in real life. Because it is a reborn baby, I wasn't sure what it would look like under the clothes, but it has a soft cloth middle, and the head and limbs are plastic/silicone. She does have brown hair underneath the hat, and it is really nice hair- not the typical fake hair, but the quality of the hair is amazing. I cannot wait until my little girl opens this at Christmas time. She is going to absolutely love this beautiful little doll. She comes with accessories like a bottle, binky, and stuffed doggie. Her binky is magnetic too! She comes in a full wardrobe. She is 18 inches long so she is the size of a real newborn baby and it is amazing how real she truly looks.
