The table came out great. Its functional and sturdy. Its not loud when going up or down. I assembled this myself which I was surprised that I did it. My only issue is that you have to follow the instructions to a T. Everything has to be exact or else you will be assembling it on backwards. The instructions have no words and the pictures are small and black and white. Its so hard to even tell whats facing up or down...But I somehow did it and i am content. For the price, very worth it. We bought two of these from amazon warehouse deals, there was a couple cosmetic defects but that was what we signed up for. As far as durability its very nice. Its pretty quiet and very smooth. My plant loves to go for a ride. Havent had any problems and weve had them for a few months now. Theres three presets and theyre very nice. It also comes with two hooks on the side of the desk for headphones, backpacks, whatever. On the side of caution I try not to stack heavy things on it to prolong its lifespan but you do you. If youre looking for an affordable standing desk, this one is great. Not to mention the desk length is great, we both got 55 inch desks and theres tons of space ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I say everything in the review title to say this, I know how to follow instructions. I know how to triple check myself, I know how to make sure everything is assembled correctly. Working with the rise, run, and angle of spiral stairs, I can handle an Amazon desk better than most. This desk is defective. Terrible quality motor or logic controller or whatever it is that’s making this malfunction. Looking at my control panel, it looks different than in the other reviews I checked before purchasing. Bad sign when it’s on sale for 30% cheaper. Seems like a bait and switch. Everything is assembled correctly. Everything is square and equidistant. See results in video above. Height adjustment is impossible. Waste of money. ... show more

    • Once it's assembled...it's great!
I literally used to work for a furniture company assembling KD furniture, so I've got some experience in this area. This desk comes beautifully packaged, with each part labeled and everything well-protected in the packaging. It's all very high-quality for a laminate desk. Very sturdy metal. Assembly was straightforward, EXCEPT the bolts that work with the hex-key (part Q, I think...) do not fit into most of the holes that are drilled for them. And there are a lot of them. The problem is that the metal is double-walled (as I said, very sturdy) but the two holes in the structure don't *exactly* line up and they are *just* a little too small for the bolts. The holes are also not pre-threaded for the bolts so it's tough to get them to go in straight. I ended up getting a metal file and filing the ends of the bolts so that they have a bit of a beveled shape, then was able to woman-handle them in (essentially self-threading the hole) with a power drill. It worked...thankfully the bolts are pretty sturdy and were able to take the the force. But not everyone is going to want to go to that much hassle. Other than that, the desk came together beautifully. It works great, I move it up and down several times daily. The custom height settings are an added bonus. Worth noting that the T-bar feet make it *slightly* wobbly, but not anything that I'm worried about falling over. But it does jiggle a little when I type (it's on carpet). On a final note, the "walnut" finish is a little yellow for true walnut, and the wood grain is definitely knotty pine, not walnut grain. It looks more rustic than sleek. So if you're looking for true walnut grain pattern, this is not it. The photo in the description is fairly accurate. ... show more

    • Pretty solid!
The media could not be loaded. A great desk. Easy to assemble and value for money. It's very sturdy as it comes with a dual motor (while others are selling desks with a single motor in this price range). You can see the sturdiness in the video when the desk is at its maximum height. My only complaint is that the wood finish was a little dry to my liking, but I fixed it with a $5 wood spray. Waiting for my dual monitors and monitor arm order to test its ability. But I'm confident that it will work fine. ... show more

    • Great value but poor stability of table top
I recently received and put together my FAMISKY standing desk and here are my first impressions: 1) Wow! Assembling this desk was very easy. The manual was simple and offered accurate directions on how to put everything together. 2) The quality of the frame is good, it's very sturdy and doesn't wobble on my floor. 3) The handset that adjusts the height is very easy to operate and program. And the motors are not noisy to the point that you feel distracted by them. The adjustment of the height is smooth; the legs and motors do the job very easily. 4) The quality of the tabletop is mediocre. I ordered the Walnut top with black legs. And as all the other comments about this product have pointed out, the top is ok. Mine, however, is chipped on the edges and on the seams (where the split top connects). All of these issues are not a big deal for me since I knew, from the reviews, that this is usually how the tops are. However, the biggest issue that I have is with the lack of sturdiness of the countertops. Each time I type on my board, my computer monitor (mounted on a monitor arm) and laptop (sitting on a stand) wobble way too much. It's distracting and I can't only imagine when I'm on zoom and need to take notes on my computer, my screen is going to shake for my viewers. My final thoughts are that I have to return this product and continue searching for something that offers a bit more stability... I guess I'll have to pay the price for something decent. ... show more
