This is a gift for someone who really likes sharks. The bracelet itself was well made. The stones seem real (though I'm not an expert and could be wrong about that). The little shark bead, which I think is glazed clay, is a nice touch. They seem like they may be a bit small for someone with larger wrists. If you're rough with it, I could see it easily breaking. Overall, the bracelet seems pretty sturdy, though. If the price was for the bracelet alone, I would have been a little disappointed. The real value I think is in the tracking info. Each bracelet comes with a postcard containing the name of an animal out in the wild and the tracking info for that animal. With that information you can virtually follow along on the animal's journey. A portion of your purchase is also meant to go to help the organizations working to protect these animals. I've tried out the tracking and it seems to work. It is a very cool idea that creates a connection to these animals. I'm always hesitant to buy products like this because it can be difficult to know if the sellers actually mean what they say when it comes to keeping the promises they make. I can't tell you how sincere this company is, but for a special gift, I think this is a well made product with a unique component. And I hope they are sincere because I do like this product. On a side note, you can probably gift these in the packaging they come in, though the envelopes themselves are a little flimsy. There were small tears in the corners of the envelope I received.

i love this bracelet. i got it a while back because i love sharks. its a really high quality bracelet, its stretchy but im not worried its going to break while wearing it. and its really nice to check the app to see how my shark doing. but you are tracking a REAL ANIMAL. IN THE WILD. things happen in the wild and eventually you wont be able to track your animal anymore if you know what i mean. its a great bracelet, and i would definitely get this one or one of the other animal bracelets for myself and friends again

My grandkids bought their first bracelets in florida. I found them on Amazon at a much more reasonable price. You download the app and you can watch your chosen animal on their meanderings on a screen. It's not necessary to wear the bracelet, but you do need to download the app. My husband has all the grandkids critters on his phone. If an animal loses their tracking device, you will get another one. Alot of fun

I bought this for my daughter because she loves animals and it broke 3 months after she received it at Christmas. Unfortunately the return window is closed and I can't find where to contact the company. What a waste. Update - I reached out to Fahlo on their website and received the following response. At this time, we do have a 30-day replacement and return policy. Unfortunately, this is outside of this time frame, so we are unable to offer a replacement. However, if you'd like to reorder a new one, we'd be happy to honor free shipping for you! Clearly they know the product is inferior or they would have a longer warranty period.
