This is a really nice, high-quality bean bag. Its textured corduroy material ensures you won’t be slipping all over it, and even though I never used one as a kid, just sitting so close to the floor took me on a jaunt down memory lane. It’s a bit small, so I’m not sure whether or not I’ll be using it too often, but if you have kids, I’m sure they’ll absolutely love it. The price does seem a bit high for a bag stuffed with Styrofoam pellets, but then again, it is a high quality bag made with durable materials and I understand from the instructions that there are actually two bags holding the the little pellets inside it, so in the end I feel the price is justified. ... show more

Our toddler absolutely adores this corduroy bean bag! She calls it her bed and would probably pass out in it every night if we let her. She does a running dive into it multiple times each day and will lie in it during storytimes to listen while we read. To her, it’s a full body mattress. As a 5’5” woman, I find it to be a comfortable chair. I will sit in it to read or while working on projects with my toddler - it’s more comfortable than the floor, but not quite the right height for working on my laptop. By contrast, it’s too small for my 6’ 1” husband. He uses it for a footrest when sitting on the couch, but the height is too low for him to sit comfortable and the length too short for a half-sitting position. If I’d ordered a larger size, he would have been happy because the level of squishiness is great and the corduroy a soft, comforting surface to rest in. ... show more

First, this isn't a big beanbag chair. My 8 year old daughter is fairly petite for her age and this is just about right for her. This seems overpriced for what it is. This bean bag chair is most definitely targeted for kids. It's a lot smaller than I expected it to be, even after assessing the product description and measuring out the size. It's comfortable, but nothing to be blown away by. I will say that I like that it was shipped as is, and didn't require any sort of assembly or fluff time. I haven't had a bean bag since I was a kid, but I really wanted one so I got this one in the Rose color and it does not disappoint. The outer material is a big ridge corduroy material. (That's the best way I can describe it) It is very comfortable. I do wish it was a little bigger, but this one is good. I sit in it in front of the fireplace and read on it.
