I expected the cable to be longer than it is, even stretching the spring side on the cable without removing all the spring it only comes to 4F or1.2m. my Teleprompter on the tripod stands just short of 4F so now I need to carry an extention cable to plug it into the power supply. Other than that it is working.

This dummy battery with cable initially worked for several test shoots. But then the camera stopped powering on. I used a back up dummy battery with the same cable and the camera successfully powered up. Lucky I had the spare! So the source of the issue was this dummy battery which I identified with a white label. The USB-C to DC cable still works to power my Camera rig using a BlindSpot battery mount but this little box is faulty. Due to this short life of service, I may have to consider another brand to replace my current dummy battery. Also there are 4 contacts on this dummy when the camera only has 3 prongs.

Do not buy this! Otherwise you will regret it and feel upset that you wasted your time! It fits inside the battery however it does not clip inside the camera so it falls out. The battery is a little too tall, besides that the cord sticks right out the battery in the camera can’t work without the battery door being shut so this will not work at all!

On a power brick, this works. On a powered USB hub that has plenty of headroom, it does not. I do not know why.

The dummy battery fits the camera perfectly and provides power as expected with a PD-enabled power bank and charger with no issue. It will not provide power with my laptop's USB C port or my older power bank that has no Power Delivery so make sure what you're intending to use to power the camera has the option to provide 9V through PD. My only other concern is that the barrel jack that connects the cable to the dummy battery is not as secure as I would hope so I have to secure it to my camera setup so it doesn't get unplugged when moving. Overall the product does exactly what I need and worked perfectly, definitely recommended it.
