I bought these for my elderly mother, who was getting too hot in her standard capris. She wears a US 12-14 and we got the X-large. The large fit, but the waist was a bit too tight. She LOVES these. They are light and soft and very comfortable for her. The perfect pair of shorts for lounging around the house and doing light chores. Also good for sleeping in.

The exact same short as S Spowind “Women's Cotton Shorts 5" Sweat Bermuda Pull on Shorts with Deep Pockets for Lounge Gym Yoga Walking Athletic”. Same material, same pockets, same packaging, same high waistband…same. Returned both as the high waist reached up to my ribs (5'5" tall). Otherwise, the shorts seem to be well-made, the fabric soft and medium-weight; not thin like jersey or modal and not thick like typical sweatpant/sweatshirt fleece.

I wear these in Florida where it's very hot and humid. Going for a hike or bike ride can mean a serious amount of chafing. These were soft, cool, stretchy and protected my thighs very well. The fabric did not get out of shape when it got sweaty and didn't have sweat marks in embarrassing places at 95% humidity. I bought the Hanes in the 7 in but they only had French terry in this length, which is too hot. Overall I will be getting another pair. I'm 5.6 150lbs and the medium fit nice, just above the knee in length. There was no pulling and tugging in the waist band was just right.

These were exactly what I was looking for! They are comfortable, lightweight for the hot summer, and go down to just above my knee. I'm 5'9" and ~165 lbs (postpartum), hip measurement 44", so always looking for shorts that are on the longer side and comfy. I plan to keep wearing these once I'm back to my normal size as well. I was torn between ordering the medium and the large, but I am glad I got the large--the waistband is pretty tight (not in a bad way, just would've been too tight for postpartum abdomen. I expect I can still get away with wearing the large with my normal hip size in a few months, which is about 40", they'll just fit a little looser. I haven't washed these yet, they are line dry though, so if they end up in the dryer accidentally, they may shrink. If things go well, I plan to buy more pairs and in different colors too.
