    • Works Great But Packaging Could Be Improved

This tubing appears to be made well and true-to-size. I won't hesitate to buy it again; however, there are two packaging issues that could be improved. The tubing is packaged in a roll secured by three twist ties. The first issue is that the inner loop of the tubing is small enough that it put a kink in the tubing. Using a heat gun, I was able to straighten the kink and make that section of the hose--the last ~10 inches--usable. The second is that the size label is glued onto the tubing and left a significant amount of paper and goo stuck to the tubing when I removed it. My particular application leaves the tubing in plain sight, so paper/goo wasn't ideal. The paper and goo were easily removed with a heat gun. Even if the manufacturer doesn't address those two minor packaging issues, this vinyl tubing is still a good deal. ... show more

This EZ-FLO 3/8 Inch ID (1/2 Inch OD) PVC Clear Vinyl Tubing is a good product. Quality appears to be good, nice and somewhat flexible without being flimsy, OD and ID appear correct, wall thickness is good. I work on my cars, and occasionally have need for a section of tubing. I use tubing for radiator overflow bottles, to slip over a brake bleed fitting to bleed brakes into a jar, etc. I purchased a 10 Foot Length of this tubing to install a short (8 inch) section onto my radiator drain to drain coolant/antifreeze into a drain pan rather than all over the car frame. I then drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the factory plastic pan underneath the radiator, such that I can place the hose into the hole in the pan, which holds the tubing in place to drain into my catch pan. Once the radiator is drained, I pull the hose out of the hole, place a 1/2 inch vinyl vacuum cap over the end to keep dirt out, and lay the hose in an out of the way place for next time I need it.
