I have two pair of expensive readers ($100 each) and while these do not have the name recognition, these are actually as good or better. The lenses are clearer, the fit is better, and they are more comfortable. I know they are a price point item but believe me they are an outstanding value for a 5 pack. I’m old. I purchased this five pack of magnified glasses because I have four dogs that like to chew on things. I also occasionally sit on them and break my glasses. I can’t look at my phone unless I have a 2.25 magnification, and these are comfortable and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. I lose glasses constantly so these sets are perfect for me. I keep them in my vehicles, briefcase, nightstands and even in the garage. I order a set of 5 about every 6-9 months. I either lose them or sit on them (they break fairly easily) or they get scratched up and i throw them away. I work outdoors a lot and am pretty tough on glasses so I love that I can scratch them, break them or lose them and I just don't care. My grandchildren love to play with them and it's nice that I don't have to worry about a 2 year old breaking my expensive prescription glasses. I went to the eye doctor recently and they recommended I try 3.0 readers for reading. So I purchased this set. They are better than my 2.0 set for reading at a distance of 14-18 inches, but when looking farther say a monitor 30 inches away they are far worse.
